“I always order from here and the food is amazing, I order the pounded yam and okra soup. But they are very stingy with the soup, to be paying almost $30 and getting 2 spoonfuls of soup is crazy to me. Hopefully they will start adding more or I’ll start going to a different place.“

“WOW! I have not been here in years and I stopped in with a friend when I was visiting the area. Let me tell you that I was most impressed with the service. Madeline was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I had many questions and she was able to answer them and also make recommendations as to what we should try. Very attentive, our drinks were never empty, got plenty of napkins, checked on us to make sure everything was good throughout the meal. Next I visit the area I would definitely go back. We were happy with our food and drinks.I have eaten all over the place and you can see by my many reviews. But it is service like this that keeps people coming back to a place and being loyal customers. THANK YOU MADELINE P. KUDOS TO HER! More staff like that and you are in fantastic shape.“

“Music was on point...vibe was there & the free brunch was excellent. I gave the food 2stars bc brunch shld be advertised as appetizer. I literally had half an egg. While it was DELICIOUS it just wasn't enough. $5 beers r a good deal which thy had during brunch. Drinks r a little pricey and light on the alcohol but plenty ppl were drunk so maybe it's what I had. Worth going to on a Sunday for a nice vibe just hv plans to get food after.“

“The food quality is inconsistent! Often comes out cold!! Bartenders often do not place orders as requested!! Service at the upper bar is at times very slow!!! Shout out to Keith who makes the best mocktail!! The manager is a joy, cares about the food and service. Often times he is seen serving tables and delivering food!“

“On a slighty busy Wednesday morning/ afternoon. My server was Kishiya. She was busy but consistently moving and helping everyone out. it was my kids birthday and she made it super special giving him a sundae with his name on it and sung him happy birthday. we had a rough start but once entering fridays kishiya was there at the host stand and greeted us with open arms! even got him an extra scoop of icecream once she heard he got all A’s on his report card slip. the food was a 4/5 my fries were cold but our server got us more! thanks again to the staff but more importantly kishiya for making our experience nothing short but amazing! see you soon!“

“It was my BFF and I first time there. We had Kim as our bartender and could not have had a better one. She was very attentive, served our food hot and prepared a pretty nice drink. The bartender that came in after her didn't even ask if we wanted anything else and I set for 30 minutes waiting for my BFF to finish her drinks. I made sure to ask Kim's schedule so we can get there earlier next time.“

“The service was ok he didn't come to check on us or ask if we needed anything maybe like once and that's it the manager did come and ask if the food came out the way it was supposed to and yes but he didn't ask us anything but asked the lady's behind us if they needed stuff but not us never want him as my server again“

“There really hasn’t been a time where I’ve come to this location and had bad service but tonight’s service was by far the best. SHOUTOUT to Trevor or server for the evening he was very kind and very funny and we enjoyed our meal and his company. The food was coming out very quickly , everything was cooked perfectly and nice and fresh. The drinks were heavy handed (wink wink) and I’m not complaining . I had a table of five and we all left with full bellies , and smiles on our faces.“

“Grew up here. Nice neighborhood bar, good food, stocked liquor store, friendly people that welcome all! Large tv’s to watch. Large bar. Tables. Eat in or take out. Open till late.“
