“The staff always treat me and my family well! Service is quick and they often provide us with yummy appetizers on the house while we wait for our entrees. They even offer to take family pictures of us. We have had an array of foods on the menu from rice options, to noodles, to sushi, etc. and they all are amazing!

They aren’t always super busy (at least for dine-in) which makes a peaceful atmosphere.

“We frequently dine at or order carryout from Sushi Q’s Ellicott City or Jessup locations. On this occasion, we were looking for sushi and called Kata Sushi around 8:30 PM. I mentioned I would call back in 45 minutes, and they assured me it was no problem since they close at 10 PM. However, when I called back, I was told the kitchen was closed—without any empathy or prior notice.

I wasn’t aware that there was a Sushi Q in Eldersburg, as we typically order from the Ellicott City location. I’m so glad I came across it—the sushi was incredibly fresh, and the staff was exceptionally accommodating. This experience has definitely made me appreciate Sushi Q even more.“

“My friend and I visited Sushi Sakura today for the first time. We each had 2 vegetarian sushi rolls, among them mango-avocado and onion, which was delightfully crispy. The food was delicious. The service welcoming and prompt. We will definitely come again, and recommend Sushi Sakura to others. Looking forward to coming back soon!“

“I have stopped in this restaurant many times and never stayed because of the lack lustered warmth of the waitress. Her engagement with patrons leaves a lot to be desired, and is tinkering closely to being rude. My lunch companion wanted to eat here, so I stayed and the food was great. When its your first time communication about the menu and food items is extremely difficult and short. Language barrier plays a small part but body language is on spot for "poor service". Anyhoo, I got the lunch special as shown, and I was delicious. Beverages leave a lot to be desired. I opted for water with lemon, and it was served in a 8 oz plastic Dixie cup (like at the dentist). The seating in the dining area is CLOSE, so don't dine in if your planning for steamy conversation professional or not. Whispering is still loud. We even bumped into a local celebrity.

The food is great (you choose what to put into your bowl, if you don’t like it, that’s on you IMO) and everything is fresh and of high quality (avocados are always ripe). They start making my order the minute I walk in. Incredibly friendly service and I’ll be back.“

“Our new favorite Hibachi Restaurant. My wife and I used to dine here most every weekend. The Hibachi chefs are highly skilled and prepare our meals perfectly. They also have great appetizers and Sushi. I love the Yellowtail Roll with Mango and my favorite Hibachi is the Ribeye Steak. We don't do the noodles since they also provide rice, but the portion sizes are plentiful.
