The best saag paneer I have ever had, the spinach is really the star in it! A lot of saag paneer is really heavy with cream, but this is really light, well spiced, and flavorful. The goat/lamb curries are also fantastic. We usually go for the lunch buffet (weekend only) or lunch thalis (weekdays) for a variety of dishes.

Bombay Bistro is a popular Indian restaurant in Rockville, known for its delicious food and good service. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a great place for family dinners or casual meals. The timing of the food is also commendable, and the service is quick and attentive. While the portions may be smaller than expected, the quality of the dishes remains impressive. The Chicken Biryani is a must-try, featuring flavorful chicken and crunchy onions. Other popular dishes include Chhole Bhature, Chicken Tikka, Dal Makhni, and Lamb Rogan Josh. The restaurant has recently introduced a buffet lunch on weekends, where Chicken Tandoori and Kadhi Pakode are standout items. Despite some dishes being bland and needing more seasoning, Bombay Bistro continues to be a favorite among locals and visitors alike, with many returning for its great quality Indian food. It is advised to specify any tree-nut allergies when ordering, as there may be almonds in the chutney.
