Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is a popular dining destination, attracting locals with its fun and interactive experience. The restaurant features a revolving sushi bar, offering a variety of delicious sushi. Guests appreciate the fresh sushi and the option to order on tablets, with quick service aided by kat robots delivering drinks. The warm and helpful staff enhance the overall experience, making it a great choice for families, couples, or solo diners. Children enjoy the cartoons and capsule toys, while the heated seat toilets with bidets add a unique touch. The Chicken Gyoza Dumpling is delicious. Cold non-alcoholic drinks come on the little robot who plays a loud melody. The table has a box containing white ginger with tongs, little sauce dishes, a napkin dispenser, and a soy sauce dispenser. If it is your first visit, they explain how to remove the plate from the belt and have you practice. Food is relatively fresh and if you do not see what you want, you can order it off the screen and have it sent directly to your seat. There are occasional special dishes that are available while supplies last. For non nigiri eaters, you can order other foods like friends, fried chicken (karaage), a variety of udon soups, and more. There are handrolls and non-seaweed rolls that can also be ordered. Every 10 plates there is an animation and every 15 plates triggers a capsule prize. The bathroom is very clean. Favorites/regular orders that are not nigiri: - udon is good for splitting amongst young picky eaters - warabimochi comes on the belt and is a sweet chewy snack with soy dusting. - taiyaki ice cream: hot,fish-shaped waffle with sweet red bean paste inside served alongside ice cream and some more red bean paste. - Japanese soy donut: slightly sweet donut puffs served with ice cream. You order your drinks and some food on electronic ordering iPad like device, or you see it circulating past you, then you pull the dish off the conveyor belt. The drinks arrive on a cute little robot. Each plate has a dollar value attached. The wait staff were nice, and the weekend crowds are large. The concept of this restaurant is fun and unique.
