Mirabeau is a charming coffee shop known for its trendy murals and bright, cheerful atmosphere. The pastries are delicious and fresh, while the ham and cheese croissant is a standout. The coffee is strong, and they offer alternative milks. Service is attentive, and the staff are super friendly. The decor is modern, and seating is limited, but finding a spot in the window is easy. Some pastries may be a bit dry, but everything is super tasty and fresh tasting. Sandwiches are delicious, though they can be a bit pricey. Mirabeau is a great spot to support a local small business and enjoy a tasty treat. This wonderful little French bakery is run by an Asian American pastry chef who studied in France. Their pastries are excellent, probably the best in Rockville and surrounding areas. The turkey on ciabatta sandwich and the Parmesan cheesecake with figs were outstanding. The strawberry matcha and checkered cookie were perfect, not too sweet. The espresso is good.
