Where do I start? For a restaurant with appetizers priced at $20, shots priced at $15 (yes, per shot!!), you expect the food and service to be fantastic. To start, the chips and salsa that is usually served complimentary, were charged by the basket after the first half filled basket. We asked for the Happy Hour menu because we came during the advertised Happy Hour and our waiter couldn’t find the menu and said that he couldn’t therefore serve us drinks off of the Happy Hour menu. The food that we ordered was served to us cold. I ordered a vegetable burrito, the vegetables were uncooked, unseasoned, the rice and black beans inside the burrito were also unseasoned and the burrito was tiny. My spouse got the Oaxaca Combo with mole. The Oaxaca Combo included two corn enchiladas, with mole, and one chicken raja tamale. It was served with Mexican rice and the black beans. This dish was also served cold. The mole was inauthentic, the tamale was tiny also unseasoned and did not even resemble what a tamale looks like. The general theme was that the food was uncooked, cold and unseasoned. Our waiter couldn’t be bothered to check up on us, refill our waters or even ask us if we needed anything. Even though the restaurant was empty, he was on his phone the whole time. For $20-$50 plates, you expect quality but this restaurant was run as if it was bought out by private equity. We won’t be back and judging by the table next to us, they won’t be back either. No wonder it was an empty restaurant during the FIFA games.

Out of all restaurants I’ve been to, their prices are pretty much kidney selling.. We ordered shrimp al ajillo and that ain’t worth the price.. don’t come and waste y’alls money.. 200$ for 4 plates ..insane man

Pulled in by what looks like a nice restaurant with the outdoor seating however was super disappointed with the lackluster overpriced food and drink. $18 margaritas being served in small plastic cups, under seasoned and salted $30 fajitas and cold tamales. Main entree shared and 3 drinks shared between two people was over a $100 dinner after tax and tip, not worth the cost to me. Service was nice and attentive though.

This was one of my neighborhood go-to restaurants with my partner. For years, we got margaritas there on our dates. The food was always hit or miss, but the drinks and patio seating were decent.

I don't know if management changed, but the service is astonishingly poor now. My partner and I went recently with another couple and the service was beyond bad. Despite the restaurant being almost empty, we sat with our waters for maybe 25 minutes waiting for the server to take our order. When I finally got up to flag a server, he looked offended. Then the kitchen got my order wrong. Not sure if the server wrote it down wrong or if it was a kitchen error. Everyone else at my table was served. When they were finally on their last bites I decided to cancel my order. Again the server made it seem like I was the problem for wanting to eat with my friends. Additionally our water glasses were empty almost the entire time, no refills.

Despite asking to cancel my order, the server ignored me and brought out my dish when everyone was finished. Not surprisingly, it was wrong again! I told him that I was going to respectfully decline the dish as it was time to go. The server never apologized nor did the manager even try to make it better. The item was not removed from our ticket and we were charged the group gratuity rate even though we barely go any service at all. In short, it was the worst restaurant experience my partner and I have had in YEARS anywhere. We are never going back. The staff were so cold and indifferent. It's like they've never heard of hospitality in their lives.

Ordered the tacos. The meat was overcooked and dry with no flavor. The rice was meh and the beans were good. Our server was nice and made the overall experience better. For the price, I can't give the food a high rating.

On a Sunday at 12:15, with the restaurant less than a third full, it took more than an hour to receive our food. Good decoration, good not very flavorful except the shrimp tacos being way too salty. Hopefully it’s better at other times.

I visited with my three kids and had a mixed experience.

The kids menu is quite limited, with only three options available. My kids ordered quesadillas, and to be fair, they were very good. They definitely used plenty of Oaxaca cheese. However, the restaurant brought out adult portions of the quesadillas for my six- and eight-year-olds without clarifying the portion size. Since we ordered from the kids menu, I assumed the default would be the kids portion. The kids version (which includes a protein) was $10, while the adult version was $13 plus an additional charge for protein. A quick question from the server would have avoided the confusion.

Service timing could have been better as well. When we ordered I mentioned that the kids were hungry, but my shrimp fajitas arrived before their food. The fajitas themselves were disappointing because the shrimp were served with the shells still on. I had to wait for them to cool down before peeling them, and unfortunately much of the seasoning came off with the shells.

The complimentary chips were tasty but the portion felt a bit skimpy for a table of four…especially with three hungry kiddos. The house margarita was good, though at $15 it felt overpriced for what it was.

There were definitely some positives. But between the portion-size confusion, the shrimp preparation, and the value concerns, the experience fell short of expectations.

To top it off, the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity to the bill. While I understand automatic gratuities for large parties, it wasn’t something I was expecting, and combined with the other pricing issues it made the overall experience feel less like a good value.

As a Mexican American and from Texas, I must say the food is AMAZING! It's hard to find Authentic Mexican food in the area and I can say this is 🔥. Also, Obed our waiter was amazing very attentive.
