“Highly recommend the ninja crispy chicken for $11.50, which pairs nicely with the beef on rice. It feels like it is straight out of a Taiwanese street food YouTube video! The chicken is pounded very flat and long and seasoned to be both salty and a bit sweet, though I would recommend removing it from the container very quickly as the cardboard it is delivered in retains a lot of heat causing the chicken to become soggy the longer it stays wrapped up.Otherwise, I’d highly recommend!“

“Immersed with the culture! No doubt people drive all the way from VA or different part of MD to have a meal here.
Foo was outstandingly good! We had the Taiwanese Chicken Popcorn and I forgot the noodles we ordered but it maybe plain looking but the taste was so rich.
Serving was fast as well and hands-on. The place can accommodate big groups for sure and they offer boba (Taiwan is known for it so this place will not fail you)
Love this place and will stop by again.“

“Don’t sleep on this place guys, the food and drinks are solid. We got wintermelon tea and green bean iced smoothie and they were both so good! The fried chicken bento and Taiwanese tempura also tasted delicious. We will definitely be coming back again for more.“

“J’s Asian Street Food is a gem! The Chinese food here is truly authentic, prepared with high-quality ingredients and without the heavy, unhealthy additions you often find elsewhere. Every dish tastes fresh, balanced, and full of flavor—just like real street food should.
The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s clear they care deeply about both the food and the customers’ experience.
Their drinks are also a standout—the tea is brewed with real leaves and has an authentic, refreshing taste that pairs perfectly with the food.
Overall, J’s is the perfect spot if you’re looking for genuine flavors, a warm atmosphere, and food made with care. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!“

“Great food, speedy excellent service, and excellent vibes. The music they play overhead is pretty loud though, but, it’s definitely a nice spot to go out w/ The family or w/ riends.“

“There are no words to describe this place. You will never find better food for $12 in your life I promise you that. I was skeptical at first seeing as they are inside a gas station but hands down 10/10!“

“Holy cow, if you are into the fried chicken craze, Jumbo Jumbo is a must. Bon Chon is good, but the flavor of the Taiwanese chicken here beats it hands down. Don't expect as much crunch.I had the fried combo (chicken, tofu, squid). I didn't love the squid as it had a bit of fishy aftertaste that I don't generally get in calamari. The chicken and the tofu were spectacular.Good value for the price.I have been to the location in Rockville that closed. This was just as good.Highly recommend.“

“They have great, authentic Taiwanese food that tastes like my memories of Taiwan. You have to order off the menu that is only printed in Chinese (there's a different menu with pictures and English which is more standard Chinese American fare). My grandfather even occasionally orders from here for special delivery to Virginia. My favorite dish we had was the oyster pancake.“

“A family owned small but very nice Chinese restaurant that looks very clean and feels very comfortable.
We went there for a casual business dinner. And it is good for a meal within a family or good friends.
Seaweed infused fish fillet: this is highly recommended. The fish was very fresh and juicy. The shell was crunchy and tasty. I love this one.
Roast pork: highly recommended. The pork was very tasty, a perfect mixture with salty and sweet. And the meat was very tender.
Roast duck: it was good for sure. But not as good as the seaweed fish fillet.
Shredded lettuce: tasty and crispy as expected. Recommended.
Foshan-made pig’s trotter: this was so so. Not bad at all. If you are not as picky as me, you may like it.
Gifei Chicken: it looked so pretty. Tasted OK. Definitely better than $5 chicken in Costco.
Combination in big casserole: the soup was soooo good! It was made by slowly boiling of pork bones. It doesn’t matter what were in the soup, they were all delicious.
Fried pork kidney with green capsicum: it was so so. The kidney was a little bit over cooked. But the entire dish was very tasty.
Deep fried prawn with salted egg yolk: highly recommended! This is one of my favorite Chinese dishes. All prawns were fried with a thin layer of crunchy salted egg yolk shell that had added rich flavor to the fresh prawns. I love it!
Water spinach with chopped garlic: the water spinach was very fresh! After a meal with so much protein, it is the best dish to delight your stomach.“
