Went in to order. Asked for 20 wings and fries and 1lb of catfish, extra seasoning all over. Got little to NO seasoning at all on either. Does not seem like 1lb of catfish. And the fries were cold despite going in to order expecting it to be fresh. The food is basic without the seasoning, so very disappointed.
Hip hop fish and chicken is bangin.l! I may be the only white guy in the store sometimes, but I'm trying to change perceptions. White ppl do like flavor! (Gandhi said be the change you wish to see in the world). I never liked chicken liver until I tried it there. OMG. It's different. It's so good!! Great variety of fish too.
It's a bit awkward to get to since it's in a busy strip mall, but the food is excellent. I've gone 4 times in the past few months. I walk in, order, wait for like 5 minutes, and then I'm out the door with my food. And every time I've gone, there's someone out and about keeping the windows and tables clean.
I recommend opening the box for the drive home so that the fries don't get soggy. They're incredible while they are still crispy. And they reheat decently in an air fryer...read full review
