Cubanon makes some of the best mojitos. As a Cuban, I know what I am talking about. The food is okay, but the cook is clearly not Cuban and what comes out does not taste like authentic Cuban food.
Review Title: Can You Pay in Cash? Last night (Saturday, March 9, 2024), my wife and I went to Cubano's. We had not been there since the COVID Lockdowns and reservations were made for 6:30pm. Had a classic mojito. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Also had the assorted apps platter which included a ham croquette, a beef empanada, shredded pork, fried chicken, crispy plantains, and yuca. Everything pretty much tasted the same, no distinct flavor. Added some salt and asked for some type of hot sauce and that made things slightly better.
