“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! My husband and son both had milkshakes and burgers and I got the meatloaf. Classic diner menu but really elevated and creative. Everything was delicious, loved the decor, service was friendly and bathrooms were clean.“

“To be fair, it is a diner. Not a fancy diner but a plain old hole in the wall kind of place where a neighborhood cat might visit.
I went to meet up with a friend who was at the Library of Congress. The prices are decent for where you are.
The food was fine. I’ve eaten at many restaurants, some with Michelin stars. Pete’s is okay. The food served a purpose. I was fed.
There are 2 Asian dishes I could identify, the Korean beef and rice dish and spring rolls. Everything else is plain American diner food. The beef dish comes with Kim Chi on top of salad greens.“

“Food was good. Lemon ricotta pancakes didn't even need syrup. My friend asked for more coffee midway through the meal and the server never brought it. More attentive service would have been appreciated. But overall it was a good experience.“
