“RUN, DON'T WALK to Just AJs Veenies. They're at pretty much all the DC farmers markets, and they're absolutely delicious. They are DC's best kept secret, and these shouldn't be a secret. Their food is honestly the best in town, next to Fancy Radish. Vegan or nonvegan, AJs Veenies are a must eat.“

“You don’t see many 4.9 star ratings that aren’t inflated by bots, but this halal cart is truly deserving of its rating. Owner is super friendly and provides his availability on Instagram on a daily basis. Food is super yummy and I wish I could stop by more often. “I’ve driven by this place close to a thousand times but never stopped. I can’t believe the amazing and wonderful place I “found” today when I finally made the bold decision to try something different. At first, I was going to grab a slice of pizza because I was impressed by the look of the slices in the display case. But after I started my order on the tablet, I saw a brisket sandwich piled high with coleslaw. I ordered with extra sauce but didn’t need it because the flavor is absolute perfection. This place is a hidden gem. Don’t miss out. You’re welcome.“
