“The waiters was great. Was also very eager to explain anything that here in America we don't normally use like bangers meaning the sausages so food was phenomenal. Great portion sizes for the prices and definitely would go back. The service is top notch and the food like I said can't be beat.“

“What a great place! I arrived early in the morning to watch a Six Nations game that they were streaming (a rare feat for American bars). They had no food, and not even milk for coffee. Just alcohol (marvellous). The bartender very kindly ran out to the store in the middle of the game to get us milk! No funny business, just kind, chatty people who are rugby lovers. Rustic and simple. I’m planning on going every week for a morning Guinness (or a $4 mimosa! Bargain!) 😉“

“Great restaurant to be hidden inside a campus but well worth the visit. Friendly and accommodating staff. Simple but tasty food. Small but good variety on the menu including the mix on the alcohol. Also can do private functions and happy hour gatherings. Great specials and make sense for the season or holidays. Best prices in the area.“

“This is a fun little bar. Lots of cool locals and great bartenders. The wings were great and all my mixed drinks were strong. It's a fun bar to have some drinks with friends, or a great place to meet new friends. Gotta love shenanigans!!!!“

“We eat here every single time we come to the DC area. It is my favorite place to eat. The Scotch Eggs, Shepherd’s Pie and Guinness Stew are our favorites. The staff remembers us and welcomes us. The owner is awesome. We can’t recommend this place enough.“

“On fresh impression, the feel of friendly pub, some irish meets sports bar. But like the rest of the comments found below I will say this is definitely a friendly very considerate and welcoming little Pub to be at, highly recommended we'll be back“
