“250828 - By the time we reached Sparks, the muffins had begun to take effect; we were low on fuel, having come off the highway, aware wet were close to ‘Empty’ in unfamiliar country. Nervously looking for a gas station, ambling along our way back to Canada after a week in the capital. Some said we were brave to visit, we never minded, soaked it all in, we were just there to check on our American cousins, see how y’all were making out in a rather turbulent time. Loved the rolling countryside and gorgeous homes in the area - hmmm…a preserve of the ‘horsie set?’ we thought. Now, even lower on fuel, we caught the sign and stopped at TFS. We surveyed the place, quirky storefront and round the back which felt surprisingly, decidedly chill. Straightaway, we struck up a conversation with a friendly physical therapist, because we’re that kind of chatty. Had a spontaneous, lovely and wide-ranging chat including the whole family. A delicious milkshake, I think a cookie, and couple washroom breaks later, our new friend sent us on our way to the Exxon down the way and a nearby turnoff to get us back en route to the north land. Felt really good to meet a kind helpful soul along the way, the kind of people we wanted to show the kids, and we somehow knew we would certainly meet on our drive into NY, PA, MD, VA, DC. Now back in the land of the silver birch, home of Lord Stanley’s sport and the ‘double-double,’ I am just reading about your late friend Rosa and how much she’d touched you all and your beloved TFS :) Nice lil place. “I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. We’ll be back!”

“I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. Highly recommended 5 stars if I could give more I will give them 10 stars.”

“Visited here many times and everytime time was a satisfaction. The tenders are the biggest I’ve ever seen compared to other restaurants, the seasoning on the fries are delectable, the slider with the kale slaw makes it crunchy and then the signature Dave’s sauce goes perfect with all of it. “Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.”

“Brooklyn born here n have had it all. The Halal guys, Adels plus countless more. When I heard about this place I couldnt wait. Heres my review. 8.7/10. The rice oh wow the rice is a 10, amazing flavor. The chicken is a 10! very flavorful and fresh. The beef/lamb is a 7.9 at best. Which was dissapointing. As this part is my favorite. Its typical pre made gyro and that leaves you wanting the real thing. It was fresh and cooked well. My shwarma scale is tough, Ive had the best. All over. I added pita and it was delicious and warm. The sauces are very good too but a little watery. Overall Im happy, filled and Impressed. I got a L coke, added Pita and it was only $16. Perfect. They will get even better. Go support them. You will be happy.”

“I went in to get a cookie last week and the lady that brought it over opened up the box to make sure it was what I ordered and then complimented my smile as she handed me the box. This really made my day and I would definitely recommend going here! (and the cookie was absolutely delicious!!)”

“Always great food and service when I eat here. I have eaten here with my Mother numerous of times plus I came here with a friend as well to catch up. I only had a problem once of the young man forgetting to ring up my sushi and had to end up taking it to go. But other than that we love the food.”

“This is a typical bar with with bar food. No Different than TGI Friday, except a little better. The service is "OK" the servers are untrained as to waiting on tables. The first thing that should be brought to tables is eating utensils and napkins, the water. The tables dont have slat & pepper available for their patrons, you need to ask for it. The menus are not placed in front of customers upside down. (And I even brought it to her attention and she still didn’t correct it) ?? All in all the server was trying very hard to be attentive. The food was not terrible, it's typical bar food, and dont expect anything more. The Boom Boom shrimp are pre breaded frozen shrimp with the tails on and then fried and covered in some type of sauce. My daughter liked the boneless chicken wings with hot sauce. The onion rings I thought were good. I ordered the toasted Italian sub and wasn't offered the option to get tater tots -vs- fries. I didn’t realize this till later and the fries were soggy. I think this is an "OK" spot for someone looking for a bar atmosphere and same for the food & service.”

“Our table was not ready though our server motioned us to sit down while an extra table was added. No apologies, just: sit down, like we were inconveniencing her! Her attitude was approaching on rude. Orders were taken without comment, just looks. Soups were spilled onto saucers,no apologies. Coffee was served twice without spoons, containers were brought while people were still eating, same with bill. Everything was rushed, without a smile or occasional: can I get you anything or is everything ok? And why as a fine restaurant are you serving salad dressing in cheap plastic containers???”
