“250828 - By the time we reached Sparks, the muffins had begun to take effect; we were low on fuel, having come off the highway, aware wet were close to ‘Empty’ in unfamiliar country. Nervously looking for a gas station, ambling along our way back to Canada after a week in the capital. Some said we were brave to visit, we never minded, soaked it all in, we were just there to check on our American cousins, see how y’all were making out in a rather turbulent time. Loved the rolling countryside and gorgeous homes in the area - hmmm…a preserve of the ‘horsie set?’ we thought. Now, even lower on fuel, we caught the sign and stopped at TFS. We surveyed the place, quirky storefront and round the back which felt surprisingly, decidedly chill. Straightaway, we struck up a conversation with a friendly physical therapist, because we’re that kind of chatty. Had a spontaneous, lovely and wide-ranging chat including the whole family. A delicious milkshake, I think a cookie, and couple washroom breaks later, our new friend sent us on our way to the Exxon down the way and a nearby turnoff to get us back en route to the north land. Felt really good to meet a kind helpful soul along the way, the kind of people we wanted to show the kids, and we somehow knew we would certainly meet on our drive into NY, PA, MD, VA, DC. Now back in the land of the silver birch, home of Lord Stanley’s sport and the ‘double-double,’ I am just reading about your late friend Rosa and how much she’d touched you all and your beloved TFS :) Nice lil place. “We just had the best experience at this restaurant. The staff were very helpful and polite sharing lots of big smiles. We got the lamb chops which I can honestly say are some of the best we’ve had at any restaurant. The chicken in the Tikka Masala was melt in your mouth tender. The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who grew up in India. He said it’s true to his memories of food from his mother land. Please give this restaurant a try. You won’t be disappointed. “Dave’s Hot Chicken in Owings Mills seriously lives up to the hype. The sliders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and the spice level was actually consistent with what I ordered (hot but still enjoyable). The fries were perfectly seasoned, and the staff was friendly and kept the line moving even though it was busy. The place was clean, the vibes were good, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m craving Nashville-style heat.”

“I dined there for the first time tonight, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quaint, cozy, and perfectly decorated. The first two drinks that I got were absolutely amazing, as they were custom-made. We also tried a flight of tequila, which was also very delicious. We both got an entrée each, and got nachos and queso. It was all absolutely delicious. The waitress kept coming back to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. “I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. Highly recommended 5 stars if I could give more I will give them 10 stars.”

“I just ate what was probably well over my 100th pit beef sandwich from Jake’s Grill in my lifetime. I am blown away by how tender the beef is each and every time.

Don’t bet on the Ravens, don’t bet on the weather, but you can bet every single time that your sandwich from Jake’s will not pull apart and fall apart because the pit beef is tough. This is the food of life.

And don’t forget the ribs which sell out every day.”

“Randomly driving through Timonium on our way back to PA we were looking for food. Fuentes showed with good reviews and we stopped. Now once a month (sometimes more) we drive an hour back to Timonium for amazing food. We’ve even brought family down here. The italian food is plentiful and tasty but the fish and shrimp tacos are our favorite. A lovely couple owns the place and they cook all the food and they’ve always been kind to us. We hope to come here for many more years.”

“Cindy was very nice and helpful. I brought my friend who is a die hard chipotle fan and convinced him to be team qdoba. Everything is always fresh and the dining area is always clean. “Brooklyn born here n have had it all. The Halal guys, Adels plus countless more. When I heard about this place I couldnt wait. Heres my review. 8.7/10. The rice oh wow the rice is a 10, amazing flavor. The chicken is a 10! very flavorful and fresh. The beef/lamb is a 7.9 at best. Which was dissapointing. As this part is my favorite. Its typical pre made gyro and that leaves you wanting the real thing. It was fresh and cooked well. My shwarma scale is tough, Ive had the best. All over. I added pita and it was delicious and warm. The sauces are very good too but a little watery. Overall Im happy, filled and Impressed. I got a L coke, added Pita and it was only $16. Perfect. They will get even better. Go support them. You will be happy.”

“I was there last weekend in what was my first outing since having major knee surgery. I showed up on crutches and a full knee immobilization brace. Without me having to ask, the waitress offered us a table that was a little more tucked away, she asked if I needed an extra chair to rest my leg on, and even put my crutches aside for me. Outstanding customer service and human kindness. The food was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.”
