“This is a really good German food restaurant, but it's built like a suburban sports bar; so, it's very loud. When I was in there the evening of 10/27/2024, I had perfectly prepared Wiener Schnitzel mit Kartoffelpüree, Rotkohl, und frische eingelegte Gurke. Everything was brilliant. And I had a great, American Sour beer, which complimented the meal perfectly. I'm a fan of Lambics, and would probably drink Lambics with everything I eat, and that sour was a very good substitute. I don't remember its name though...

And I ate alone, at one of several two-tops scattered around the relatively small place, all of them high, rather than "normal" table height. The chair was a typically uncomfortable bar/restaurant chair. The waiters I interacted with were brilliant. They were kind, attentive, and careful; and the man who took my order knew his stuff.

I would recommend Das Bierhalle to anyone who happens to be in Baltimore and who has a hankering for good German food. I suspect you will be pleased you made the effort to get there.

Vegetarian options: This is a typical German restaurant/Bierhalle. I expect a vegetarian could find a meal here, but I don't think I would recommend the place to vegetarians.

Kid-friendliness: This is a bar. Kids are probably not a good idea here, but I know that they do a bang-up take-out business, so parents you should consider Das Bierhalle when you just don't want to cook. Kids love everything that's breaded and fried!

“I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They just opened and my food was very delicious. They let me sample different things and suggested things I would like based on that. I got the santefe salad with the harrissa chicken. It definitely packs a punch of heat but man was it good. They had a lot of options I'm sure anyone could find something they liked there. The crew was very friendly and greeted every customer that came in. Even as they were close to closing time I saw they had good cleaning practices because they were sanitizing the chairs. “We have ordered pizza from Tony’s a couple of times and it has always been delicious. My wife and I went into Tonys for an attempt at a quick lunch with our twins and not only was there clean high chairs, but when the server brought out the pizza for the kids he asked if we wanted it cut up and promptly took it back to the kitchen and cut it in bit size pieces. I don’t usually write reviews, but I so am appreciative of the little things when trying to enjoy a meal with children.“

“When I came in I was greeted by a young lady wearing glasses. When I got to the counter to place my order she smiled and asked how my day was and how could she assist me. She took my order read it back to me gave me detail of everything that came on the item I ordered . I got the grilled chicken sandwich. “Pretty fast service, nice employees, relatively average pricing for fast food. The only issue with this location is the amount of people running the registers. People usually make a line 30 minutes prior to them opening and the line stretches way too long. I don’t blame them if they can’t seem to find enough people to hire though.“

“Food and Service is definitely better than the White Marsh restaurant. Their soups are usually Luke warm and thin. The utensils are usually not very clean (water spots) . Take out is not good the orders are not very accurate. I try to avoid the store when possible.“
