“Always looking for tasty BBQ in the Maryland suburban area. Glad I found this hidden gem just over the bridge. From a business ownership perspective this establishment is nailing all the key components of a successful enterprise. I only wish I was constantly surrounded by this delicious food where I work. I highly recommend the melt in your mouth brisket and surprisingly "zingy" pickles on the side. Being a BBQ lover myself the owner was happy to show me a tour of the pits which is just outside the seating area. They are clean, efficient and really want you to see the hard work that goes into every product they make and it shows. I'll be back for sure!”

“Wonderful lunch on a beautiful Monday afternoon at this fine restaurant. The staff was light but the host managed everything from seating serving and making sure all patrons were accounted for. A real gem that reflects well on the management. Sorry I forgot her name but well done!!! Food was excellent with perfect servings and on point for price. Will return.”

“Tonight we are at Ramshead Eastern Shore, we had an excellent dinner with awesome service from our server Eric…. From the moment we entered we were seated immediately and they were quite busy. Ashley the hostess was very sweet and super nice and accommodating!!! The food was delicious and the Bloody Mary was so tasty!!! The atmosphere is so welcoming and to be totally honest WE BOTH LOVED IT!!!! Great service, all the way around!!! From the hostess to the server and the busser. ( M.J. ) this place gets 5 stars!!!! “First of all, the owner, Mark, is a fabulous man who is beyond intelligent and truly down to earth. Especially after his retirement from NASA (was that a very flat joke? I know, lol).

As you drive onto the property, you’re greeted by a beautiful home to the right and gorgeous views of the water. To your right, you’ll also see picturesque grapevines. When you enter the tasting room, it’s clean, calm, and inviting.

Our group had our wine tasting led by Anthony, who is a wonderful person and a comedian in his own right. He kept us entertained while also making sure we were well informed about each wine we tasted.

We did their tasting experience, which includes about eight wines to explore, and it was a great way to get a feel for their offerings.

Mark and Anthony are definitely the two you want to see on your next visit!”

“Lovely people, lovely baked goods! We're new to the Island and are working our way through the menu. So far our favorites are the oatmeal breakfast cookies and the two-person sized (love that smaller items are available!) peanut butter torte. On a scale of 1-10, everything we've tried so far has been a 10+.”

GREAT hot and sour soup. It's got tofu and a little chicken, which I love. Great General Tso's chicken and combination to mein. Can't go wrong. The woman who works the register is always really kind. It's a Kent Island gem.”

The staff was exceptional, the store was fun, loved all the memorabilia around the store and the food was as promised, hearty and good. Everything was fresh and hot. “Love Rita's. So glad we have Rita's on Kent Island. We enjoyed Rita's frozen custard while living in Arnold, MD for 20 years and to be able to continue to get Rita's choc/vanilla frozen custard cones after moving to the Eastern Shore is awesome. It's just as good as any ice cream in my opinion and it's amazing how much they give you in a small cone.”

“What can you say?...it's a Subway. 😂 This is not fine dining, but I've never had bad service here. Usually pretty empty, but they are fast and efficient.

The price point, however, is way higher than it should be, considering we have a Jersey Mike's now.

“I am a new resident of Kent Island and was super happy for a Ledo pizza to be here. I have been a Ledo fan for many years. The people in this particular Ledo are just the nicest!! I was greeted when I arrived to pick up my internet order and was thanked for my order as I left!”

“Well I come there one time a day for a frozen hot chocolate and I’m picky about it . The girls named Anise ,Jaida and zymira are one of the best teens in the island !!! Not once did I get an attitude which can happen in the food industry they made me completely comfortable to be picky . My drink is always made correctly and I wished I could tip them 20 doll each if I had it . I do try to give them something to show my appreciation. But I would like to stress these are the nicest young ladies and anybody that goes to Dunkin’ Donuts. I’m sure it’s treated wonderful and they’re accurate manners never have to wait more than a minute for a frozen drink and I could go on and on, but I think these girls for being nice to picky customers like me and getting the order correct every single time they deserve raises . I came back a second time and once again, no problem no puffin and puffin about my extra stuff. I need in my drink always so friendly, but I definitely need to shout out Lynn Jada and Zy you have a very good set of employees there they all deserve a raise such hearts for a young age and work hard and care about customers”
