“Just did the cupcake monster decorating class at the Waldorf location and they were so sweet. My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“Lumier is a must-visit! The chimney cake is basically four desserts in one: you start with the biscuit toppings, move to the ice cream, hit the warm, perfectly soft chimney cake, and finish with the chocolate coating inside. It genuinely feels like a never-ending dessert. For such a reasonable price, generous portions, friendly service, and a great location, it’s an incredible value“

We bought one set of a smore making kit ($5). Camp wharf also sells piping hot apple cider ($5). It's a fun experience. Prices are reasonable to me.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service specifically from Firas. “Love this place. Love the fresh warm tasting cookies. Even though I know they are not super fresh they still taste great! Even when I order online they come to my door warm and delicious. I like to try the seasonal flavors but snickerdoodle and peanut butter are my favs.“

“Came to DC with my 9 year old for a concert. When we stepped out, we smelled something most delicious and followed the scent all the way here. It was incredible. Then the attendant said they can scoop ice cream on top of their cookies. And THEN it became insane. Best cookies ever!“

“L.A. Burdick in Georgetown is an absolute gem for anyone who loves exceptional chocolate and delicious desserts! Everything is beautifully crafted, rich in flavor, and absolutely delightful. The chocolates are outstanding, and the desserts are simply irresistible. It is also such a cozy, charming place to slow down and enjoy a wonderful cup of tea or coffee alongside a sweet treat. The warm atmosphere makes it perfect for a relaxing afternoon break or a leisurely catch-up with friends. A lovely little chocolate haven in Georgetown that is well worth visiting!“

“I went here for my birthday (the staff didn’t know it was my birthday at first) and they were some of the most genuinely sweet people I’ve ever interacted with! Then, when they found out about my birthday they went even more above and beyond to make me feel special 🥰 In house I got the cereal milk soft serve with the corn flake crumble and an iced coffee overall an 11/10 ☺️ Very happy with my experience!!“

“The entire process was pleasant. The initial inquiry with questions answered in great detail and suggestions for what amounts to order for a specific number. The food was very delicious. Everyone at the event kept asking about who made the food. The birthday cake was beautiful and very moist and sweet. Everything was prepared with love and delivered on time. I will definitely use their services again and would recommend then to anyone who requires catering.“
