“This place is very unassuming but their cookies are really good. Super thick and gooey with just the right amount of crunch. My girlfriend and I came in and got the Brookie and it was amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend checking this place out if you like cookies.“

“I had to leave a review after my experience at Chip City because Ricardo seriously went above and beyond.

I came in super indecisive and honestly a little overwhelmed with all the options, and he didn’t rush me at all. He walked me through the flavors, gave honest recommendations, and even helped me put together a mix based on what I told him I usually like. You could tell he actually cared about making sure I got something I’d enjoy instead of just getting me in and out.

At one point I changed my mind twice (not my proudest moment 😂), and he stayed patient the entire time, super friendly and helpful the whole way through. He even suggested warming one of the cookies a certain way, and it ended up being one of the best cookies I’ve had.

Customer service like that is rare now. Ricardo made the whole experience feel personal instead of transactional. Definitely the reason I’ll be coming back.“

OMG the ice cream cookies are so good but the strawberry cheesecake on sugar cookie is my favorite. I wish I had taken a picture prior but there is nothing left. We bought one set of a smore making kit ($5). Camp wharf also sells piping hot apple cider ($5). It's a fun experience. Prices are reasonable to me.

Plus they offer coffee and breakfast! . The Fall Gelatis are our go-to desserts. I just wish they would post the flavors of the day online, but that would be hard because there are so many!“

“If you have followed or read my other reviews for different places you will come to the conclusion that I am not a real sweets person (maybe, because I’m so sweet; lol). Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful day and I was in the area so I stopped because I had a taste for a cookie and had always heard about the place.
It made me kind of mad because when I walked in the ambiance as well as the photos of everything had me longing to try more than just one thing. Come on Insomnia…no fair.
So, after coming back to my senses and focused I walked away with just one…I know. You don’t know how hard that was. But, I was proud of myself. Had an opportunity to speak in-depth with the new manager of that store who is really cool and excited about being in this location.
So, lastly for those who have a sweet tooth stop on by and indulge your senses. You won’t be sorry.

Enjoyed everything — the dulce de leche in the chajá was so rich, and I surprisingly enjoyed the nutella in the red velvet cake — but the key lime pie was a standout. Usually I find that places make key lime pie too sweet for my taste and this one does NOT have that problem 😂 Would definitely order from here again!“

“Came to DC with my 9 year old for a concert. When we stepped out, we smelled something most delicious and followed the scent all the way here. It was incredible. Then the attendant said they can scoop ice cream on top of their cookies. And THEN it became insane. Best cookies ever!“

You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. “I came across this chocolate shop while shopping in Georgetown, and I decided to check it out. I ordered a large hot chocolate- and I'm sure glad I did. The hot chocolate was the single best hot chocolate I may have had in my life. The drink was rich with flavor unlike other hot chocolates I have had through the years at chain coffee shops or the powdered stuff you make at home. The price for a large was a bit over 10 dollars - so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. At first, I thought the cost was ridiculous, but the drink lived up to the cost. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Georgetown so I can stop in again.“
