“This place is very unassuming but their cookies are really good. Super thick and gooey with just the right amount of crunch. My girlfriend and I came in and got the Brookie and it was amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend checking this place out if you like cookies.“

“Just did the cupcake monster decorating class at the Waldorf location and they were so sweet. My daughter asked for mermaid decorations and Chef Tai put some chocolate into a mold and into the freezer on the fly. She also did bats and ghosts on request, it was so, so sweet. Kids (4 and 3) loved it, and super tasty, too! Will definitely be back!“

“We were walking along the Wharf and decided to try a basket of doughnuts. They were literally the best thing I've ever had. They are the perfect size and the variety of toppings were convenient and fun for everyone in my group. The guy working was super personable and we absolutely love this! “Where to begin... got the chance to visit Paradise Ice Cream. Great and prompt curbside pickup service. OMG the ice cream cookies are so good but the strawberry cheesecake on sugar cookie is my favorite. I wish I had taken a picture prior but there is nothing left. We bought one set of a smore making kit ($5). Camp wharf also sells piping hot apple cider ($5). It's a fun experience. Prices are reasonable to me.

Plus they offer coffee and breakfast! . The Fall Gelatis are our go-to desserts. I just wish they would post the flavors of the day online, but that would be hard because there are so many!“

Skip the long line at the pretzel place next to it and treat yourself to one of their unique flavors. Also, if you've been to that other prominent cookie store, I find that CC's cookies don't all start to taste the same as you try the different kinds.“

“Lazy Mike’s is a classic neighborhood diner serving vegan, vegetarian, and meat dishes. You can substitute vegan meats for lots of the meat dishes including hot dogs, impossible burger patties, and veggie sausage. They even have vegan sorbet at the ice cream counter. “Came to DC with my 9 year old for a concert. When we stepped out, we smelled something most delicious and followed the scent all the way here. It was incredible. Then the attendant said they can scoop ice cream on top of their cookies. And THEN it became insane. Best cookies ever!“

“I went here for my birthday (the staff didn’t know it was my birthday at first) and they were some of the most genuinely sweet people I’ve ever interacted with! “I came across this chocolate shop while shopping in Georgetown, and I decided to check it out. I ordered a large hot chocolate- and I'm sure glad I did. The hot chocolate was the single best hot chocolate I may have had in my life. The drink was rich with flavor unlike other hot chocolates I have had through the years at chain coffee shops or the powdered stuff you make at home. The price for a large was a bit over 10 dollars - so be prepared for a bit of sticker shock. At first, I thought the cost was ridiculous, but the drink lived up to the cost. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Georgetown so I can stop in again.“
