Koma Cafe Reviews
Salmon avocado toast was absolutely superb!
This caramel macchiato has got to be one of the best I've had in a while. And the crossiant was very flavorful and worth the money.
I’ve been to this place at least three times. Every time I got some different to eat, and every time I get surprised on how good the food is, plus the service is exceptional, hands down to Dylan and Miguel!

Koma Cafe is a hidden gem in Takoma Park, offering a cozy and cute vibe with tasty breakfast items like scrambled eggs and avocado toast, sandwiches, pasta including truffle pasta, and pizza with phenomenal dough. It successfully marries the feel of a neighborhood cafe with the elevated food quality of a great casual dining spot. The cafe has a great happy hour from 4-6 pm, providing discounts on drinks and shareables. They also have vegan pastry options, a pecan latte with actual pecan pieces, and fancy soft serve ice cream, with updates on their weekly soft serve flavors available on Instagram. While the ambience and service are wonderful, some find the pricing a bit steep, catering mainly to the wealthier crowd of the area. The neighborhood spot is popular among locals for working, chatting, and dining, making it a fantastic location for a morning coffee run, a working lunch, or a flavorful, relaxed dinner. Street parking is available, and there is a ramp for easy access to the building, though wheelchair accessibility can be challenging. The staff is polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating, and the food is fresh and artisanal, featuring options like St Paul and Chopped salads. It can be a bit noisy inside, but it’s a great place to treat yourself, with highlights like the Kouign Amann and oatmolk latte being particularly praised. Dinner options include pizza and pastas, which are yet to be tried by some visitors.
