“Cute place to grab breakfast. I give it 4 stars, it’s just a hyped up breakfast spot. The bagels were okay and the service was very good. No space inside to eat so be prepared to eat it outside, we didn’t mind since it was beautiful out but check the weather prior to arriving. I would come back if I am close by but I wouldn’t take an uber 25 minutes for a bagel here.“

The old town waterfront doesn’t have many(read: any) fast takeout/lunch options. This place would’ve been great just by virtue of being the only option, and yet here they are, being actually great on their own merits.

Excellent bread, fresh meats, succulent sweet peppers. Top tier stuff that the waterfront has desperately needed.“

“Solid family-owned deli serving up bagels and sandwiches for a relatively reasonable price. The turkey avocado sandwich was good but needed a little salt and pepper. They don’t bake their bread or bagels or smoke their meats in-house, but it’s still a decent spot if you’re in the neighborhood. I’ll be back to try a breakfast bagel.“

“Perfectly toasted and buttered bagel. The staff was friendly. The other patrons were very friendly as they could easily tell we were tourists. I like to go where the locals go when on vacation. This is the type of establishment I'd gladly support on a regular basis if I lived in the area. The store was clean. The food was freshly prepared. The location is convenient.Check this place out if you are visiting the area. The locals already know how great this place is.“

“I'm from out of town but, as a seasoned traveler, I spotted a UPS delivery driver eating and noticed the plain foil wrap he was holding. That was a sign of flavor packed simple food. He told me where to buy it and went straight there. Chicken Madness is what I order and at first impression, the sandwich was fresh hot in temperature. Then, when I took the first bite I was reborn. I would love to visit DC again and most definitely stop by for 3 of these amazing sandwiches.“

“Great Italian deli. Best pizza. Some get sticker shock because “it’s expensive.” You live in DC, the air is expensive. It’s not dominos so shut up and buy the pizza or clear a path so everyone else can. Have also tried a few of their freezer options that reheat well at home. Service is what it is, they don’t work for tips.“

“I have never ever taste a fish sandwich this good in my life. It tastes better than any high end restaurant. The service was excellent, the waitress was so polite and friendly. I’ve been there several times over the years and I always order the same thing the fish sandwich. As I observed the people that patronize the restaurant. Some ordered takeout and some ate inside. Everything thing I had seen on others plates from the breakfast foods and well stacked deli sandwiches looked good. The restaurant is very cozy and family friendly. “Food was great. I got the cheese steak and fries. Of course a lot of places now a days ask for a tip for virtually doing nothing. I placed my order at the counter and they called me back to the counter to pick up my food. It wasn't worth the tip. I wouldn't recommend tipping.“

“Everyone behind the counter was very friendly and service was fast. Food is made to order so it comes out fresh. We had the country burrito, a bagel, and the western omelette (which comes with home fries and toast). A lot of food for the price. Definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch.“

“A hidden gem in downtown DC. It’s tucked away near the UPS store but it’s delicious and the couple that runs the place does a great job, making fresh sandwiches. The grilled cheese is lovely and the prices are so reasonable! I highly recommend for an affordable workday lunch.“
