“Best sushi i’ve ever had. Nothing compares to Yamato sushi . I have been a customer for half my life. Very fresh and amazing quality. They gave me free dessert one time. I will never forget that.

Vegetarian options: Many sushi rolls without meat or fish available. Also, vegetable tempura and vegetarian rice dishes. They also have imitation crab and real crab.

Dietary restrictions: Many options. If you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, shellfish free, soy free, nut free or egg free there is many options for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kids who eat there are always well behaved. The Japanese soda with the marble in it is very popular with kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: No hills or steps. There is space between tables and their chairs are easily removable in order to put a wheelchair in place. People are very friendly.“

Like one of the other reviewers mentioned, the rice is a tad dry, but honestly imo the quality of the fish makes up for it. And for the price you can’t beat it.

“Stopped in for lunch, more of a carry out than dine in place. Plastic utensils, soup in a carry out container, at least the plates were "real". "Dine In" seemed like a surprise to host/waiter, eventually another group also came in. Ordered meals and ended up I was served the wrong item, chicken yes, spicy no. Waiter took it back and they remade my meal. But the "Schezuan" was pretty bland, spicy it was not. The food was just adequate, plenty of it (so we had "carry out" take home anyway). Good news: Price was spectacularly low. But sorry, not going back....“

“Haven't had a plate this full since the last time I was forcefed carne asada by my Peruvian friend's mom.

The food is good, the teriyaki sauce is plentiful, but not over zealous, and the staff is quick, kind, and courteous.

This is easily the best bang for my buck that I've had at a hibachi restaurant. Not to mention the fact that they offer way more than just hibachi.

“Driving up to the area to visit a family member in the hospital and got stuck in crazy traffic and was super delayed, I was about to miss visiting hours. I sent in my order online once I got close and had a very slim window to actually bring it to them. I started to panic and got emotional that I wasn’t going to make it with their treat. You guys were supper busy but one of your team members noticed and reached out to me later to make sure I was ok. Luckily I was able to make it and bring a little joy with your food. “Everyone here is so nice! My car broke down in front of the restaurant and they were fine with us waiting inside, out of the cold, until AAA could come out. “My friend and I went to Sushi Hana yesterday for the first time ever. The setting is quite peaceful, the staff is friendly and professional, and they got a nice indoor aquarium.

My friend and I got a sesame seaweed salad to share. Small sized, so easily shareable between two friends. We both got two different types of udon dishes that we both liked, but couldn't finish due to the quantity. I personally liked my Nabe Yaki Udon with chicken, but I couldn't finish all of it.

For dessert, we shared one order of mango-flavored ice cream mochi. One order of mochi comes with a plate of two mochis cut in half. The mango was very yummy and not too sweet.

If you're a DC resident going to Baltimore for work and/or visiting friends, or if you're a local college student, I recommend going there if you're looking for a quiet place to dine on a Monday afternoon.“
