This hidden gem is a must visit. I ordered the combo (2-meat) Jerk Ribs and Jerk Wings, Sweet Potatoes and Kale Greens. Topped it off with a Tito’s Lemon Drop while I waited. Some of the best jerk flavored food I have had in a very long time. Sweet potatoes and Kale greens were amazing. Thanks Jada for the referral selections! I will be back😉🥰 PS: I started out with a Carryout and ended up sitting for a while bc the music/videos playing while I waited had me reminiscing.
Hands down some of the best ribs, brisket, smoked wings, and comfort food I’ve eaten in PG County.
The smoked wings are my favorite soooo flavorful, juicy, tender . and seasoned well.
The ribs and brisket fall off the bone with a rich flavor seasoned to perfection slowed smoked fresh.
The sides collard greens, mac & cheese, kale, and yams paired with meats are delicious.
The portions are large and can easily give two full meals.

Service was ok (was advised it would take about 25 minutes), food/fried catfish sandwich was fair. The Brisket was what I wanted; but was sold out to my disappointment.

The Pit Stop BBQ is a hidden gem and a must visit in PG County. This is smoked BBQ at its best, offering some of the best ribs, brisket, smoked wings, and comfort food around. The smoked wings are flavorful, juicy, tender, and seasoned well. The ribs and brisket fall off the bone with a rich flavor, seasoned to perfection, and slow smoked fresh. The sides, including collard greens, mac & cheese, kale, yams, Sweet Potatoes, and Kale Greens, are delicious and taste home cooked. The 2 Meat + 2 Side combo is a steal because it has a lot of food, and portions are large enough for two full meals. The fried catfish sandwich is fair, and the catfish is loved. Service is fast, and the staff are awesome and courteous. There is a nice, chill bar with inexpensive drinks and football games on Sundays. The food is authentic and tastes like soul food from your grandmas house. Online orders are always ready. The only complaint is that orders placed online for 11am are sometimes not ready until 5-10 minutes later.
