Wish I could leave a 0 star. They served one lane twice as fast as the other. Guy that showed up 10 minutes after me finished 5 cars ahead of me. Person taking orders barely speaks English. Almost impossible to order. Had to repeat my order 5 times

Absolutely the Worst McDonald’s Experience I’ve Ever Had – 04/02/2025
If I could give zero stars, I would. I spent 30 minutes stuck in the drive-thru today, only to be ignored at the order screen in lane 2 while four cars in lane 1 were helped ahead of me. Not only was the wait ridiculous, but when I finally got to the window, the staff practically threw my food at me and could barely manage to hand my credit card back—no apology, no eye contact, just pure indifference.
This location clearly has no sense of order, customer service, or professionalism. If you’re hungry and value your time (and dignity), go literally anywhere else.

I don't typically leave bad reviews, but unfortunately the poor service warrants it. Constantly receiving the wrong food and of poor quality. If they were out of the food, I wish they'd at least mention they were out rather than down grading to something of lesser value (got a McChicken instead of a McCrispy). They could've asked what the customer wanted or give something of at least equal value. I've received luke warm fries and extremely late orders (when hardly anyone was in line) in the past. As someone who has done customer service in my past jobs, I'm extremely disappointed. The emmitsburg location will always be my favorite.

My family and I ate as fast as we could so we didn't have to listen to this guy (must be from the district) berate an assistant manager for not following arbitrary rules. Sima? was her name and barely got 2 words in, this guy was sitting there just tearing her a new one. From my experience in leadership that isn't how you coach or build new leaders. He was scolding her, he wasn't coaching her. He was so loud that people in the dining room were staring. It was inappropriate to have this conversation during a lunch rush. It was uncomfortable to say the least. That woman was talking so quiet and you could hear her saying that she was doing her best. He would cut her off and just start tearing her down again. He wasn't trying to teach her anything he just wanted to assert authority. News flash my guy, if your leaders are struggling....it's because of you. No wonder she was getting defensive, you were raising your voice at her. What a toxic work environment. Absolutely appalling. I will not be eating inside here again.

McDonald's needs to get it together! Did self order and had to wait forever for meals. A drink had been spilled on a table and floor when we came in an employee had walked through it to bring our order. Still like that when we left and people were having a hard time finding a table. Not because of overcrowding but because all tables were dirty. I think I'll wait till they remodel before trying it out again. Forgot to mention food and coffee were cold, pies were hot though.

Ordered a 6 piece nugget kids meal for my son for curbside and these morons couldn’t even put his nuggets in the box. It’s truly not that hard to make sure the order is correct before delivering it to the customer.
Josh in the drive through is one of the best employees that I have ever witnessed at any mcdonalds. I come here fairly often late at night after I get off work, and Josh and everyone else always gets my order just the way I like it and does it with a smile EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't usually go out of my way to make reviews, but of all the mcdonalds I visit most are bad on service and usually mess something up but I have never had that issue here. Thank you for going out of your way for consistency. I work in customer service so I know how hard it can be and they have it down pat. Good work team and keep doing what you're doing there because if I lived closer I'd be here even more often

They updated the inside. It's not kid friendly! The colors are very uninviting. Only 1 cashier . There are too many kiosks . Not customer friendly.
