“My family and I eat here weekly and this location is so friendly and knowledgeable about food. There has not been one time that I have entered and not been greeted with a warm welcome. “I ordered the 1/2 chicken with the hot sauce. The chicken was nice size, moisted and very flavorful. It was the first time at this restaurant. I've been to Peri Peri restaurant in Silver Spring. This restaurant has a notch up. Not sure that the restaurants are affiliated. I'll definitely visit again since I live in the area. The side order of seasoned fries was very good! Sandwich lacked the seasoned hot oil you see with a traditional NHCS. The crisp on the batter was on the lighter side. The chicken breast itself lacked a sort of signature spice that would let you know that’s it’s not plain chicken.? ?: 4.7 of 5.0 * Onions tasted fresh, had a light batter and had good flavor. If I’d been able to eat them there they likely would’ve been higher.?: 4.9 of 5.0. If you come with the expectation that the fries will have any crispness to them like I did you’ll be disappointed. BUT if you let that part go you’ll have a really good experience. I’m sitting here regretting AND NOT regretting how much of those fries I ate. I have had the fried chicken, fried fish, fried liver with gravy, steamed crabs, chitterlings, home fries with onions, fried green beans, collard greens, mixed vegetables, vegetable lo mein, and fried cabbage. “This is one of my go-to’s when it comes to chicken wings. The wings are crispy yet saucy on the outside, and juicy on the inside. Definitely recommend getting the gangum style wings. Waiting for the food is a lil long, but the wait is worth it. The service is pretty good, but it’s typically only 1 or 2 servers that also double as the bar tenders so it can get somewhat hectic for them.Parking: Plenty of parking, also pretty big parking spots perfect for truck owners“
“Yall this is the only chick-fil-a that I know of that actually has a play area! I've been bringing my boys here often these last what maybe 2 months and I have to say.. I can still get my work done while they eat and play safely in my eyesight. EVERY single time that I've been here and dined in someone from the staff has always made it their business to come and greet us, and offer refills or anything else we might need at the moment. This is super appreciated. This location is definitely recommended 5 star rating ? because if my kids are happy comfortable and safe, so am I. ?“

I had the shrimp yat gaw mein ( some places call it yak) with extra boiled egg. Belly filling delish. Yes, I ate it right out of the container. LOL. The noodles were cooked perfect and the gravy, savoryyyyy. I also had the shrimp egg rolls. Yes, it had more than 1 shrimp in it. ;) crispy, hot and tasty. I'm not gone lie, some of the best food is from spots with plexiglass pay windows.“

Every meal/special ordered was great - the portions far exceeded all of our expectation of what we were getting for lunch under 8 dollars. “I placed an online order at this Nando's Peri-Peri location and had a seamless pickup experience! The place was crowded around 12:30 when I showed up, but not overly so as there were some tables available and a line forming at the cashier. Service seemed to go quickly! I had the chicken bowl with chicken breast and mango lime sauce, as well as a side of Peri chips (fries) with perinaise. The fries alone were flavorful, and even better with the perinaise! If they were supposed to be crispy, though, it was a failed attempt. The fries were very soggy and soft. The chicken bowl itself was a good size, although the chicken piece felt quite small in comparison to the amount of rice and veggies. The mango lime sauce was soooo tasty, but there was barely any in my bowl! Just a light coating on the top of the chicken --barely noticeable otherwise. So disappointing, since the bowl was pretty dry otherwise. Next time I will order an extra side of this sauce if that's an option. I will be back to order more off the menu! The ordering and pickup was smooth and the food was tasty. This is a great lunch spot if you're in the downtown area.“
