My only complaint is it was bland. No seasoning at all. So of course I added a lil steak seasoning and that was that. If they add a lil flavor to the meat they got it. And it had plenty of meat not skimpy at all.“

“After walking by Buns & Roses multiple times and always wishing it was dessert time, we finally made it happen today and were rewarded with a uniquely delicious dessert and very friendly, welcoming service.As you might have guessed, the chimney cones themselves are the star of the show here and appear to be handcrafted with great attention to detail, with a marshmallow at the bottom to keep all the ice cream from dripping out.We definitely want to come back again - I would like to try the coated chimney cakes next time, and the apple dumpling sounds great, too.The owner/employees here are welcoming to everyone who comes by and very clearly care about their customers.“

“Excellent matcha cafe with delicious and not too sweet desserts. The service was fast and easy. They have kiosks that you can use to order on your own. It feels as though you've stepped into Kyoto yourself with the decorative design in the cafe. It's quiet if you're looking for a place to study or it's a great gathering for friends. “The staff here is so kind, they have a really open space but few tables. The gelato is delicious however a regular (smallest size available) is a $7.50 which is a bit pricey for me. The location is ideal and they are open later on the weekends which a bonus.“

“I had a yen for some soft serve ice cream this afternoon, so decided to stop by here after finishing my afternoon rounds. According to Google Maps, I was last here 3 years ago ( Wow! Has it been that long?!) When I walked up to the window, I was greeted by a nice young man who showed me the menu board behind him when I said I wasn't sure what I wanted yet, but wanted to see what flavors they had. I was surprised to see that Soft Stuff offered regular (or hard) ice cream as well as the soft serve version (contains less milk fat, whipped with air, and can be made from a mix). They also have a few other items added to their menu, now, too. Anyway, I ordered a small soft serve in my favorite flavor. Unfortunately, the machine wasn't behaving properly and was offered the choice of an improperly mixed product of my flavor, or one of the basic flavors (vanilla, chocolate, or orange-vanilla(?). I chose to go with chocolate. Although I asked for a small, it was a rather large amount. I guess that's what a small looks like now! It cost about $5.00 plus change. I chose to pay with cash, though they do accept credit cards now.I was talking about all of the changes with this young man since I was the only one there at the time. I found out that the previous owners of Soft Stuff retired about 2 years ago, so the shop has new owners who wanted to build the business with some new items and accommodate people who might not always have cash on them.All in all, it was a very good experience and I thought the ice cream tasted very good. The only disappointment was not getting my favorite flavor because the machine was broken. Oh, well. I'll try again another day when the yen for a soft serve ice cream hits me again!“

“Easily my favorite place for frozen custard/ice cream. I found this place shortly after moving to Maryland six years ago and have been back an embarrassing number of times since. While the classic twist is the standby favorite, blackberry custard with Oreo crumbs or the gelati with mango ice and vanilla custard are equally good.Pro tip: Skip dinner and order a banana split!“

“I LOVE Codetta Bake Shop and everything about them. I have been ordering a cheesecake from Sumayyah for the last couple of years because my little sister specifically requests it every time she visits me from out of town. It is so so rich and delicious. This year, Sumayyah was so kind and delivered the cheesecake to me in a pinch which was so helpful. Highly recommend picking up some baked goods from Codetta for any occasion. Also- if her annual cookout comes around again this summer- DO NOT MISS IT! It was fantastic!“

The milk cap had the perfect balance of salty and sweet plus the ratio they added to the drink was perfect as well. It didn't taste fake and full of fake low quality pre-made boba mixed. Honestly I can't recommend their matcha boba with a milk cap enough. I will be dreaming about this drink until I visit MD again. “I wish I could give Vaccaro's 10 stars. It is one of the best Italian pastry shops in the country. I was in Baltimore for three days and went there every day. Their Napoleons are decadent. The cookies are prepared with wonderful flavors and choices. My fiancé loves the cookies with the sprinkles on them shaped as stars or hearts. I love the pine nut cookies . The Chocolate eClair is massive but amazing. I start by cutting it up and take a week to eat it. It is about 12 inches long. We got chip at dips for the cannolis and also an apple eclair and gelato. there's something for everyone. Highly recommend stopping here anytime“

“It is the first time I bought crabs from B & B. It has a high rating and I thought, why not try this place? I usually buy crabs from Crab Shack II in Gwynn Oak.Well, I have to say, the taste of the crab meat, exceeds my expectation. The crab meat has a tinge of spice in it. It is not hot, just perfect, to taste some spice in the meat. The comments I heard at the table, "crabs are meaty", "it taste so good".I placed the order for 4 dozen crab (2 dozen males and 2 dozen combo, small and medium) the night before . It rain all day the next day. B & B called me to confirm the order. I changed the time for pick up, added 15 minutes to the time. I picked up the crabs and it is steaming hot. Perfect! They definitely accommodate customers--even on flood watch.Why didn't I give them a 5* for service? They only sell by the dozen. So, if you are looking to buy crabs at half bushel or full bushel, look elsewhere.It has a decent size parking lot where you can park and wait for your order. I did like the fact that I was the only customer waiting for crabs. I came early because of weather. Though I can imagine what parking, looks like, in great weather.“

I loved the quirky decor and the humous conversation between the cook and the man in front. They were so friendly and in sync, I could not tell if they were co-owners. I kept it simple: classic breakfast and a more "trendy" beverage. Nailed both. At any other place, I would've paid $6 for the spiced chai tea close to $20 for the breakfast. Here. “We had our sons 6th birthday party their this past weekend. What a fantastic place to have a party. The staff was very helpful in setting up the event. They were very patient with us despite us being very late in responding to emails.The day of the party was great. They had a long table in the back with bleachers set aside and a side table for food. We were able to arrive 30 minutes before the party to decorate. The staff was very friendly and helped us with everything we needed.The kids loved the party. They did a scavenger hunt around the place to get little trinkets for goodie bags. Then they did a craft where they made ice cream cone pictures. Finally was the tour. As others have said, walking through the freezer was the highlight of the tour.Then it was ice cream time. Everyone got their own choice of flavor. And they brought all the bowls out to us, which was completely unexpected!Parking at the place is tough as there is a small parking lot, and there are a bunch of popular businesses at the Union Collective. My only negative is they didn't have the flavor Ice Cream Sando. But I'll let them pass on that one.“
