“I had an Alma birthday gift card so it was time to use it on a Saturday night. We had a reservation at 6 but arrived earlier to enjoy the Bar and some apertivos. A good list/variety of Cocktails including Zero. Dan is the Man and not only made drink recommendations but navigated the menu for us. Lessons in Alliteration and the Mezcal y Manaca were my favorites, Guayabita and Vieja Escuela were also enjoyed.
We started with the Patacon Salvaje -Calamari, avocado etc-just wanted to look at it as it was a work of art-tasty, Tequenos-their version of cheese sticks-the Guayaba sauce takes it over the top!
First course-Alma Caesar salad-order it! Brussel sprouts, kimchi dressing-enough said, Caribe Atomico-have never had scallops (thinly sliced) this way before and loved it-the sauce wants to be spicy but stops at savory and the rice cracker complimented nicely-basically a Ceviche and another must try.
Entrees-based on recommendation went with the Solomo Criollo (prime NY strip)-came out medium rare as ordered and Yuca with Chimichurri was a perfect side.
The Duck Attolado stole the show! Exquisite spiced Duck breast
over a bed of rice similar to Paella-delicious!
Service was attentive and engaged-Kez took great care of us. Prices are at a premium and rightfully so as you won’t find these creations on every corner. Perfect spot for date night!“

“Highly recommend this restaurant. The staff was phenomenal from the hostess to the bartender to the food servers and the chefs. The food was DELICIOUS!! Ordered the pulpo followed by the lasagna special and the most juiciest delicious steak I’ve ever eaten! Flavored and cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back.“

“The food was very tasty (and very generous serving size). I got the Pollo con tajadas and it came huge, practically a rotisserie chicken on a bed of plantain, and covered with cabbage and pickles onions. It was very good, more than I could eat in one setting.
The employees were very polite and helpful.
The dining area was a bit small, but I would highly recommend it for ordering ahead for take-out pickup.“

“Bit cramped BUT def a cool cafe vibe. I think the girl at the register was Kendall! SOOO PERSONABLE and she made a horror movie reference no one got lol Had the Cachapas with the Plant-based Chirizo. Looks a bit meh but OMG TASTE AMAZING! Definitely will be back!“

“I drove up and down Route 40 the other day looking for a place to eat. Nowhere and nothing really caught my eye.Stopped for gas. Saw their little truck in the parking lot. I thought, why not? At first, I thought it was abandoned from the looks of it. But, no. They were steady plugging out food to drivers pulling up.I got the carnitas tacos. Tender. Juicy. And made fresh with a lot of love. Even the tortillas were scratch made.You can't go wrong here.“
“My husband and I noticed the colorful truck today just driving on Reisterstown Road towards Painters Mill Road. I immediately said turn around let’s go back, and I am so Glad that I did! Our food was hot, delicious flavorful, and worth every cent and more!“

“Food is great -- I love the spinach and potatoe side and the yucca fries. Honestly all the sides are great. The chicken is flavorful, sauces are tasty.

“I've been meaning to try this truck for weeks & finally made it there on 9/17. El Taco Loco was worth the wait! I had the Asada, Chorizo & Pork Carnitas tacos. All 3 were yummy but the spicy Chorizo was my fave. At $5.00 each, the 3 corn tacos were a bit small but made for a tasty late-day snack. My only complaint was that there was no red salsa, guacamole & sour creama to top them with. The owner chef did garnish each taco with avocado slices, but plain avocado has no taste -- I need guacamole! There was also a tiny (1 teasp. worth!) container of green sauce that tasted of avocados & tomatillos, but it wasn't anough to apply to 3 tacos! yours truly likes her traditional OG taco toppings. But overall, what I had was Delicioso! I will definitely be back to El Taco Loco very soon to check out the rest of the menu.“

“I live only a few doors down and purchase most of what I need here. They have a wide variety of grocery items and most of anything else you may need. Prices are very reasonable and everyone is very friendly there. Would rather shop here whenever possible and support the local economy.“

“I wrote a review earlier about how amazing the food was. Dissapointing...I had my friend pickup another order for me and HE GOT MORE FOOD FOR THE SAME ORDER.WOW!SIS... I hear you....you don't want me to come back. I know you don't care but ill stay away from your lil eatery and let others know as well.I got a scoop of rice and very little meat on the tacos. I assumed thats just how you run your lil place.Clearly you just decided to give me a little bit of food for $14....that's crazyMy friend was white and got so much food for the same order.What a joke!“

“My wife was visiting with some friends so I was looking for a nice little place to have a meal this morning and this place was absolutely 100% perfect I couldn't make up my mind whether I wanted the steak and shrimp fajitas or the pork dinner so I ordered both figuring I might take one home not a chance the food was delicious and for dessert I wanted the carrot cake or the cheesecake but they had neither and the girl offered me this other piece of cake with whipped cream topping and cinnamon it was absolutely fabulous I definitely will be revisiting“

“Im a non Hispanic American. They speak English! This is the BEST REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT..OMG. the food is good. I would never go to Qdoba ever again..the amount of food they give is huge and for less money with authentic taste!!! Best Papusa. Best Quessdillo I've wver eaten. Best sweet buns too.“
