“Some of the best bagels I’ve ever had and I’ve tried lots of bagels. This is an absolute must stop by if you’re in the area. Staff extremely kind and knowledgeable. I also got a cortado, whatever espresso they use is delicious. In a beautiful old mill building will tall ceilings. Tremendous ambiance to bring your laptop and get some work done or to just hangout. I can’t wait for the restaurant by the same owners to open in the same building!!“

“I can’t possibly say enough good things about this place. I don’t even know where to begin! My partner and I came down from Augusta to check out DBJ after hearing nothing but good things, and it surpassed all expectations. The owner was working the counter and making drinks and not only were the drinks 10/10, he was also incredibly friendly in the way that makes you feel like a regular even though it was our first time there. Breakfast sandwiches were loaded up and delicious, pecan sticky bun was delightful, and the coffee drinks were so good that we got seconds on our way out. Every aspect of the business is so clearly well thought out, even down to the drink cool; what coffee shop carries lychee seltzer, Fairlife shakes, AND pocari sweat?! This one, and I applaud them for it. It’s also worth mentioning that the space itself is so cool, I was drooling with envy over the tiny little vintage TV playing the menu off to the side. This place is a dream, seriously!!“

My son and I go there every day during the week to get a breakfast sandwich or soup which is amazing and delicious. I work at Bodwell’s and having Mr. Bagel next door is very convenient..“
