“My husband and I visited State Lunch recently and our experience was incredible… literally a perfect night out for us. The atmosphere is great, the bar is gorgeous! We started off with drinks, tried several margaritas, all delicious! Everything we ordered for dinner was cooked to perfection, the food options were unique and all amazing! … the waitstaff was very friendly and the owner makes himself a familiar face.. he makes it a point to stop by to say hello and make sure you’re enjoying yourselves… can’t wait to get back there! Keep up the great work!“

“Morgan M Gave ua great service. We came in right at a 2:30 rush of christmas shoppers. Our pizza got sent to someone else (or they atleast got served long before us when they sat much after us) She was able to fix the whole situation and was very attentive ( as their oven shuts down from 3-4) we were worried we wouldnt get a pizza again in time. But she made it happen. Thank you Morgan.“

“I honestly didn't expect to find world class dining so close to home. My wife and i chose the Oak Table for our anniversary and we were happy we did. We sat at the Chefs table and chatted with Chef Dan as he prepared four courses with simple and precise flavors. Simple does not mean pedestrian. Just that each dish knows what its meant to accomplish and sets out for it with astounding focus. I would be remiss to forget the cocktails which were a flavor experience in and of themselves. We will be going back for next anniversary.“

“This diner, located in downtown Augusta, is a favorite of regulars and was a pleasant discovery for we out of towners as well. The food was nice - diner fare. I went with the meatloaf and it was good - definitely stick to your ribs type of food and lots of it. The service was great. The atmosphere is dineresque, old downtown - it was awesome. You could feel the history here and it was incredible.“

“I love stopping into Lisa’s for an on the go lunch (there is seating available too). They can make anything on the menu vegan, everything is made fresh to order. They are very knowledgeable about vegan ingredients so customizing is no problem. #Veganuary“

“By far the best steak and cheese sandwich I've had in my short time in Maine. The bread was the most delicious part. The taste of it and the texture were perfect! I was a dine in and started looking for a place to sit. The dining area was not well cleaned. Every table was unkempt like they had a huge rush and just forgot about it. Definitely the first place I would go for a quick take out order!“

“Oh my god, Applebees. I told the waitress and I’ll say it again: Applebees has NO BUSINESS popping off like they did with my steak tonight. The bourbon one. Are you kidding me?? Is Applebees hiring 5 star chefs these days?? Seriously, top 5 steaks of my life, and I’m picky. That was fresh, too. The mushrooms were amazing, and the potatoes were a perfect compliment. Will absolutely return anytime whatever magician was in the kitchen tonight is on again. Seriously, be proud of yourself, whoever cooked that steak. Also our server was a lovely tall lady, the first host we saw was a nice guy with glasses who was pleasant, and second host was a nice tall young man who was quick and smiley. Thank you.“

Kid-friendliness: Had my Grandson's 7th birthday there He's autistic but the staff of couese did not know. He ordered the lemon cake as was on the menu. When it came the cook had added strawberries & cool whip. Which could of caused a meltdown but he remained calm while his Mom tried to scrape added stuff off. Still not the lemon cake advertised so he opted for donuts & fondue instead. My broccoli was cold & I asked for cheese but it had none. They did accomadate for that. The waitress never cleared our table or asked if we wanted refills. But burgers were good. And the staff did sing my grandson Happy Birthday 🎉 🎂. So it ended well.“

“Gabrielle M was a wonderful server; she knew the menu, had great timing, and was charming and helpful. We love Margaritas in Augusta where the food never disappoints and is always delicious.“
