“We went here today! If you like IPAs this is the place you want to try. The food is 5 out of 10 but we didn’t go there for the food. We had their margarita pizza. I’m from NY and an a pizza snob so don’t listen to me on that! The beers were great which is why we went there! The hostess was so friendly and explained how everything worked- thank you! We sat in the outdoor patio area and it was perfect. It had heaters outside so it wasn’t cold. We would go there again.”

The Wild Brad “Berry” Mountain smoothie is delicious and the perfect consistency. When I’m in Freeport next I will be going back. 11/10”

“What a fun time! We were visiting Freeport and stopped in for dinner and drinks. My husband had a beer flight and he said all his choices were great and I had hard cider. They have seltzers and some cocktails in cans for us non-beer drinkers-thank you! We both had the burrito bowl for dinner, which was delicious. I have celiac and it was great to be able to have food and drinks at a brewery. My husband is also a veteran so it warms our hearts to support veteran owned businesses. We loved that we could pay it forward and "Buy a Vet a beer". What a wonderful idea! They have quite a few games available to play while you are hanging out. We sat at a big table, played cribbage, sipped our drinks and had dinner. It was a perfect, relaxing evening. Thank you Stars & Stripes Brewing! We will be back the next time we are in Freeport!”

“we make it a point to stop at this restaurant every year when we visit Maine. We learned this year that in November 2023 they had a fire at the restaurant. Since then the restaurant has been renovated, including a new head chef and a new name “Harpswell Schoolhouse”. Most of the staff is the same, professional and extremely detail oriented. The food was fabulous, excelling the great dishes of years past. The service is in the European style, that is to say it is not hurried. We highly recommend this upscale restaurant, it’s a gem!”
