Where to begin as there are so many wonderful things to share! We were greeted by an absolutely top notch host. Our server was very professional and on point. The food was extremely delicious. The mussels in the hard cider broth were delicious. The broth should be bottled and sold! The salmon everything was carefully cooked to a perfect temperature. The everything crust was so creative. I could go on but suggest you make a reservation and experience it yourself.
We had dinner last night with good friends Guy & Shayla at School House 1913. Magella, our server is a true Galway Girl from Galway, Ireland. Her personality, service, and our food was fantastic. We definitely plan to return soon & highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a classy dinner with classy service.

The Harpswell Schoolhouse is an upscale restaurant in Maine that underwent renovations after a fire in November 2023. With a new head chef, the restaurant offers consistently fantastic food with amazing quality and flavors. The European-style service adds to the warm hospitality of the staff, making dining here a wonderful experience. Dishes such as mussels in hard cider broth and perfectly cooked salmon with an everything crust showcase the creativity and attention to detail in the preparation. Customers praise the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the great cocktails and wine selection. The menu may not be large, but it is full of great choices, including a delicious sourdough boule with maple butter, beet salad with citrus vinaigrette, and grilled octopus. Reservations are highly recommended to enjoy this delicious culinary experience in the Harpswell/Brunswick area.
