“My grad school friends and I are in town for a reunion and they were all raving about the $20 lobster rolls having gone to multiple other places for lobster around Harpswell. Unanimously they seemed to agree on the lobster rolls and clam cakes.I decided to get the chicken tender basket. Overall, the price is a bit steep for 3-4 chicken tenders and some fries at $15 (I added a can of Pepsi ($2) and upgraded the regular fries to sweet potato fries ($1) so my total ended up being $18 for what in most places is like $10. Still, the chicken was tender and the fries weren’t bad. I did order the honey mustard to dip the chicken in but it tasted less like honey mustard and more like honey mustard.Overall it was decent, just a bit pricy. It is a shack on the side of the road with approximately 4-5 picnic tables for seating and I believe no bathrooms although I’m not sure since I didn’t have to use one.Parking: There’s a very small section of land dedicated to parking, but it’s just a roadside shack so it has limited parking.“
“Beautiful & totally awesome ocean views! Crabmeat roll & Lobstah roll were super delicious! And Maine Root Beer, all wonderful! But, I had to return the Corn Chowdah as it tasted lemony, yes, lemony! There’s outdoor seating right on the edge of a dock at a small harbor marina and to the side of the restaurant. It was great watching local or summer residents coming to this shop for lunch, by boats! All in all, aside from the corn chowdah experience, which they gladly refunded the cost, we will stop here again!“
“This is "Soup N*zi"-level soup. Not only is the quality/taste phenomenal, but the variety is also impressive - 2-3 hot soups available on any given day (rotating weekly), and a few more varieties available in the freezer, covering every soup style you can imagine. I've yet to meet a soup here that I didn't love. Currently enjoying an African Sweet Potato soup that I didn't think I'd like, but sure enough it's now one of my new favorites. Add a petite sandwich to your bowl of soup if you're REALLY hungry, but generally a bowl of their hearty soups is sure to satisfy on its own. Super friendly staff, very nice small shop.“
“What a cool addition to downtown Brunswick! Their little market has a lot of interesting ingredients to try new recipes and fun snacks to test out. The inari was yummy and reasonably priced. I haven't seen a better selection of rice wines in the area. The staff was really helpful and accommodating. One staff member helped me down the stairs with my stroller!Dietary restrictions: Plenty for dairy free guests.“
“It was an absolute delight to have lunch here. The waitress was so friendly and helpful. And everything tasted amazing.Kid-friendliness: The waitress suggested a couple options for my 2 year old and was very willing to make slight changes to menu items to accommodate them.“
“A vegan’s desserts dream .They have all the pastries to cookies, breads, muffins, brownies, cakes, candies and some smoothies and salads.Let’s just say I had a great time when I got back to my room . ? if you are a sweets connoisseur come here . I was not disappointed .“
“My only complaint is this bakery isn't in my home town!I've been eating gluten free for over 15 years and Wildflours is one of the best, if not the best, bakery I've ever found.Stopped by on a visit to Brunswick, to pick up a few baked goodies and ended up with a loaf of gluten free bread and various baked goodies. All crazy good.Just wish Wildflours was in my town here in Connecticut so I could get their great goods weekly.“
“I made a reservation for dinner for six on Friday night, Feb. 16th when some of my relatives were in town. What a perfect place to have dinner! The food was superlative and the atmosphere was absolutely terrific. Our server paid attention to us but didn't hover or intrude on our conversation. I have to say it was the best experience I've had dining out in a long, long time. Well done to everyone at Mae's for adding dinner hours to your repetoire!!Wheelchair accessibility: No one in our party on Feb. 16 needed wheelchair access but I have appreciated it in the past when I took my elderly mother there.“
“I was visiting from out of town and stopped in for an early lunch. The owner exudes a remarkable kindness that was so inviting. I had an incredible sandwich on the best gluten free bread I've ever tasted. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.Dietary restrictions: Glute free“
