“From the time we walked through the door everybody was very friendly. The waitress was very sweet and kind in serving us with a smile. The food is excellent. You definitely get value for your money. And the sweet potato puffs with cinnamon sugar and marshmallows is to die for. This place is a hidden gem. We have had the breakfast and third dinners several times and we will definitely be coming back and we recommend us.“

“Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!“

The Donald Ross Grill Bar & Grill • $$
366 Main St, Orono

“I've eaten at the Donald Ross grill twice in the last 2 weeks while visiting the area. I ordered the same thing both times, because it was so good: the Philly cheese steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. Their fries, whether sweet potato or regular, are hand cut and a little crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside-perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. The sandwich was very good-no grizzly spots of meat, plenty of meat on the sandwich and the bun was lightly toasted. My husband had a smash burger which was really good and he couldn't stop eating the fries either! We've also had the onion rings and they might be the best I've ever had. The view is lovely, the people are nice, and trivia night was fun too!“
