“Food and service are top notch for bangor. I enjoy eating here as much as I enjoy a hot bowl of lobster bisque. But between you and me, we all know they buy the taste of inspirations brand, warm it up and throw a couple chunks of lobster in there and call it a day“
“My wife and I really enjoyed our experience here at this restaurant. I completely forgot that they had complimentary valet parking, so I parked a distance and we ended up walking. If there was one criticism I could make, it would be that the music being played did not fit the atmosphere.“
“Simple and Easy going really good food. Stopped in for lunch they had a very good crowd of people but they still managed to get us seated at the counter. We ordered the a hot turkey and a French onion sandwich. Drinks came fast along with the food we absolutely enjoyed the food and can't wait to visit “
“Best wings ever. Best kitchen staff ever. The guys in the kitchen are fun and wonderful. When the cook tells you to try the new poached burger, well…he would know, right? So glad we followed his advice. Wings and a burger- great way to kick off the weekend.“
“Have been to Gaegans dozens of times and it has been excellent all around every single time regardless of how busy they are. Their chicken wings on the bone are amazing, boneless reserve wings are incredible, great soups and salads, the onion rings and hand cut fries are also as good as it gets. Gaegans beer is also great especially the King Pine. Place doesn’t look like much inside of the motel but Gaegans is a hidden gem.“
“We dine here frequently. The service is consistently great as is the food. I often enjoy the shrimp scampi but tried the Gnocchi with sausage tonight. The spice was perfect. My husband usually has a piece of fish and the salmon is always prepared perfect. The atmosphere is a mix of casual and upscale, we will dine here for special events and also a weekday dinner. We’re so happy they are in Bangor.“
“My boyfriend and I participated in the Valentine’s Day themed Scavenger Hunt, which included some amazing downtown businesses. Benjamin’s was the final stop, and actually put all the clues together for the hunt! It was such a fun way to get out of the house, and we even each got a free whoopie pie for hunting? I hadn’t been to Benjamins before, but the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be in for some pool and darts some night!!“
“This place is INCREDIBLE. Absolutely delicious. How can they make chicken so tender and flavorful? No idea. But they do. And the service was excellent. I will absolutely be back. This reminds us of the kabob in the DC area where there’s a large Pakistani community. Highly, highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Brought my 4yo son who was being a bit whines some French fries and ketchup. My son still inhaled the chicken kebob.“
“Changing my review, took my friend out for his birthday, usually this is a go to. This time, we got very poor service,. Ordered the parm spinach dip, fantastic, but 2 min later our salads arrived, 3 min later our steaks arrived. There was no where to put anything and our server just handed us our food, to figure it out. I mean come on. This was not a runner, but the same person took our order. It would have been nice to enjoy our app, the be able to actually eat our salads. The backed potatoes were stone cold. Too bad really. Will be a long time before go back. Really gone down hill. Would no recommend any more.“
“While it does not constitute fine dining, Tailwinds offers sit down dining. You can have a burger, pasta dishes and some other meals. It also has a bar. I love that they have partnered with local breweries and feature the "refueled" for the crew of fueling military planes.“
“This place was a little diamond in the rough. It's hard to find a place that does a good breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised at the portion, taste, and prices. I will definitely be going back and will remember to take a picture to post before I dig in.“
“This was a different experience for us and not at all what we expected. The place is very small but has a really fun atmosphere. There are games that you can take and play are your table. We went for dinner and didn't quite catch that it's more of an extensive collection off appetizers... which turned out to be very delicious!!! The service was great even though it appeared to be one person doing it all! Was an enjoyable evening!“
“If I could give more stars I would. The food is good, there is such a large selection of drinks, and the atmosphere is so much fun!I want to leave a special note for our waitress tonight. We did not get her name unfortunately, however she went out of her way to give us excellent customer service and make us feel welcome. Both of our birthdays are this week plus Valentine’s Day, so we are in town for a special trip. So far it’s been awful, but our visit to Hero’s has been the best part and a highlight. We sat right across from the bike games and if you know who was closing in that section please show her some extra love because you have an excellent employee.Thank you, Hero’s for making our trip that much better, we will be back!“
“I really do enjoy going to rack city. The bar is loaded. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Pool is reasonably prices. So it the food, and it good! It's just a good place to go to spend a night out with your buds. Try the blt, its to die for. Looking for a new drink? Skrewball and dr.pepper. get back to me!“
“I did not visit the bar and restaurant, but I did use the bowling alley. 3 hours for 6 players on Friday and Saturday nights is only $50. The lights and music were great, the only complaint are the alley provided balls, which of I could only find one that wasn't a fingertip ball. Great bonding experience with friends in recovery.“
“Small warm welcoming space in the heart of Bangor. Atmosphere is warm with modern sensibility. Nothing over the top of stuffy. Staff were friendly and fast. Clean and organized place with bar sitting and dining tables. The appetizers are as pretty much big as an entree.I recommend any seafood, especially the mussels!Parking: The Bangor parking garage is across the street, which will probably be your best option. The street where the restaurant is pretty narrow and is mostly for 15 minute parking during day hoursWheelchair accessibility: Does have a ramp to the entrance and main dining area.“
“The vegan meal we gad was excellent, and the staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They were kind enough to make a different appetizer than was on the menu due to peanut allergies. They also put a candle in my spouse's sorbet for their birthday, but didn't embarrass us by singing or anything like that. Will definitely come again.Dietary restrictions: Vegan food was great and they were able to accommodate a menu change for an allergy.“
