“Great food and an amazing staff“

“Immediately got in at the bar on a Friday night before a show in town. Greeted by the blonde bartender who appears yo have been born with a smile on his face. Ordered The Butcher and it was the most delicious drink I've had in a long time. Dinner was the monk fish special and the schnitzel. Hands down the best (and most generous) meals we have had since moving to Maine 6 years ago.“

“Great cozy restaurant which was a nice change of pace while we were visiting Maine from NY. Great service. Place was busy but the staff wasnt overwhelmed. Fast service as well and the food was delicious and at a very fair price. Too bad we really aren't up this north often. But we will make Chase's a priority re-visit next time we are in town!“

“A fun little spot by the river! We were starving after a full day of flights to get to Maine and craved a good burger. The menu was full of unique flavor combinations—it was so hard to choose! We got the Waterfront burger and the one with Canadian bacon and maple syrup on it (can’t remember the name). Both were great and the fries were excellent. The desserts and chicken sandwich looked delicious. We will hopefully be back on our next trip to Maine and will tell all our friends to stop by!“

Even though the restaurant seemed short staffed, Kailee took great care of all of the patrons. She thanked each for their patience, served the food & drinks quickly & never stopped smiling. “This is a cafe run by students in the culinary arts program at EMCC. It is strictly by advance reservation. But, at the beginning of the semester, sign up for the list. The food takes on a different theme each month and as food goes, this is FABULOUS!!“

“Very decent digs. Comfortable and clean, that’s the most important things. Outdated, but I get that. However, the prices at the bar are way way overpriced. And in the morning, $5 for coffee from a cranky guy. Ugh. But, front desk people were great.“

“Nellani D was an amazing waitress. I hold every server to my mother's standard. Because she was a waitress for 20 years.
Nellani met that standard, if not exceeded it.
I had a bunch of appetizers for dinner, and they all came out great. And in a timely manner and the price was pretty good.

“Outstanding selection of Beers on Tap. We went in for Drinks and Nachos. Our server Sean was great, but very busy this restaurant was understaffed. We also got a piece of Apple pie to share which was a large slice. Entrees we saw go by our table really looked good. Will plan to have dinner here next time we visit the casino. There is ample parking in the garage at the casino.“

“This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

“My sister and I had an excellent steak dinner on Sunday August 14th - the steaks were perfect! But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! Thank you Brian for helping an old lady assuage her worries - you' re a doll!“

I highly recommend this place to out-of-staters like us, who enjoy classic New England vibes. For food, I recommend their Beef Burger with the side of Geaghan's pub fries. Add to that literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant from Melissa G. and there is no way I won't be a repeat customer for years to come! “I started going to this place as a matter of convenience. As it's a restaurant within a hotel and I was staying at the hotel for work.
Adeline is my usual bartender. She is kind, funny and happens to have excellent taste in music. If you are in the area stop by to say hello to her. She rocks!“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“

“Small truck stop experience. 18 wheeler front ends mounted on wall. Antique snowmobile hangs from ceiling. Vegetables growing in canoes outside near entrance. Very friendly and fun waitstaff. Food is what you should expect from a truck stop…maybe even better.“

“Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!“
