“Great food and an amazing staff“

“Immediately got in at the bar on a Friday night before a show in town. Greeted by the blonde bartender who appears yo have been born with a smile on his face. Ordered The Butcher and it was the most delicious drink I've had in a long time. Dinner was the monk fish special and the schnitzel. Hands down the best (and most generous) meals we have had since moving to Maine 6 years ago.“

“Timber Kitchen & Bar is easily one of the best spots in Bangor. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, perfect for a night out or a casual meal. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. The food is so good, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Their cocktails are delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. I’ve never had a bad dish here. “Was traveling to NYC made a stop here for quick dinner at first wasnt too sure but once inside the atmosphere is awesome the service was fabulous and no complaints on the food great portions and tasty. “This place was really awesome. I really like the service a lot. The food was excellent very well worth it. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that the only person that was serving like 20 plus seats was only one person there wasn't anyone else to help her out. People were getting frustrated but at the end of the day she was the only one that was doing everything quickly fastly and kindly to everyone some people left. But she put in so much effort as the server and she could only get to so many tables and yet some people were just rude.“

“Nellani D was an amazing waitress. I hold every server to my mother's standard. Because she was a waitress for 20 years.
Nellani met that standard, if not exceeded it.
I had a bunch of appetizers for dinner, and they all came out great. And in a timely manner and the price was pretty good.

“My sister and I had an excellent steak dinner on Sunday August 14th - the steaks were perfect! But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! Thank you Brian for helping an old lady assuage her worries - you' re a doll!“

“Outstanding selection of Beers on Tap. We went in for Drinks and Nachos. Our server Sean was great, but very busy this restaurant was understaffed. We also got a piece of Apple pie to share which was a large slice. Entrees we saw go by our table really looked good. Will plan to have dinner here next time we visit the casino. There is ample parking in the garage at the casino.“

“This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

“We checked this place out on a Sunday in June and it was pretty chill. The waitress was great and we were greeted and seated quickly. We got the boneless chicken tenders which is fresh chicken, along with a buffalo quesadilla and the pub cheese as an appy. Everything was great. Our baby cried a bit during the meal, not bad, and they were supper nice about it. I’d check it out again!“

“Felicia is an incredible server, prompt, precise and dedicated to Geaghan's! She's very attentive each time we have her as a server. We actually request to have her! “At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“

“The food was absolutely incredible! Fish and chips came with a piece of fish that was massive and cooked to perfection! Fried cheese curds were perfect. Add to that literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant from Melissa G. and there is no way I won't be a repeat customer for years to come! “My husband and I went here for dinner before a concert at the Amphitheater. It was BUSY! There was a 30 minute wait and our food took an hour to come out. Our appetizer came out with our meal too. However, the wings were really good and I recommend the smash burger! 5 stars for the service because our food took so long, our waitress felt bad and our meal was comped. This was a surprise and very appreciated. This place is big and when busy it can get loud! It can be hard to carry on a conversation, so I recommend not coming here if you’re looking to have a more intimate meal. But overall this place is a good option and within walking distance of many other restaurants and the concert venue.“

“Overall, a decent place. It was quite empty when I visited. I was the only non hotel patron there. I wasn't exactly sure if I should wait to be seated, as the server was in a different room when I got there, but once I sat down he came back in and his service was pretty good. Very chill and welcoming. The food itself is a little expensive for what they offer, but not terrible. The menu is super small. As in one side of one page for food small. I tried the mac n' cheese. Without the pulled pork, the actual mac was very creamy and tasty. The pulled pork was ok, but it was a sourer bbq than I'm used to. They had college football on that I was able to watch which was cool.“

“Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!“
