“We decided to head out for the comfort food buffet at the Old Town Governor's Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the choice of dishes that were out. Everything was hot and fresh and immediately replaced when low. The coleslaw was very tasty, but I do wish that they would include a lettuce salad. I am not really a sweets person, but the desserts included in the buffet were super good. All in all, very impressive for a buffet. We will be returning.“

“We are frequent diners at Pepper's Landing. We always order seafood and it is consistently fresh and prepared to perfection. We love the Tuesday night option and the Sunday Suppers. The restaurant and the rest rooms are spotless and the restaurant is managed efficiently . For us, it is all about the service. Robin is always welcoming and friendly. She is super knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and does a phenomenal job multi tasking as the bartender tender and server. She does it effortlessly and always with a smile. “Had a Valentines dinner, and everything was well executed, with attentive service without being fawning. The meatball app was tender, flavorful and accompanied by balanced marinara. The lobster bisque was outstanding. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the sauce and potatoes were worthy costars. Typed off with a miso butterscotch creme brulee that was simply unctuous. We look forward to trying the full menu.“

“The smash burger was the best we have ever had! Dough boy bites were so flaky and delicious ( like dangerously delicious lol) the quesadilla cheese pull was epic. “NStopped in with my fiancé and two teenagers for a casual dinner. We ordered a mix of dishes — two chicken parms, a California chicken salad, and a fried chicken entrée — and everything was solid for a chain restaurant. No wait to be seated, and our food came out in about 20 minutes.
Our waitress was a standout — prompt, attentive without being overbearing, and never let a drink go empty. With a couple of cocktails between us, the total came to around $140–$150 for four people, which felt reasonable.
Applebee's has stayed consistent over the years, and this visit was no different. Nothing over the top, but good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. Worth a stop if you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss meal.“

“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.“

Over the last 3 years the Seasons team has grown to be a big part of my family and each of them are truly amazing people. The service they give is wonderful and you are always greeted with a smile. We were touring schools and were tired and exhausted and had no idea there was a hockey game. He took us outside to tell us about the area and offered several other spots to eat. But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! “At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“
