“Dispute the neglected main sign (a indicator that the restaurant doesn't care or is broken) the restaurant itself was was clean and well maintained inside. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was fantastic. While looking at the menu I felt the pieces where a bit high but after being served and tasting my food.... The price was well worth it. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.“

“We are frequent diners at Pepper's Landing. We always order seafood and it is consistently fresh and prepared to perfection. We love the Tuesday night option and the Sunday Suppers. The restaurant and the rest rooms are spotless and the restaurant is managed efficiently . For us, it is all about the service. Robin is always welcoming and friendly. She is super knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and does a phenomenal job multi tasking as the bartender tender and server. She does it effortlessly and always with a smile. “Immediately got in at the bar on a Friday night before a show in town. Greeted by the blonde bartender who appears yo have been born with a smile on his face. Ordered The Butcher and it was the most delicious drink I've had in a long time. Dinner was the monk fish special and the schnitzel. Hands down the best (and most generous) meals we have had since moving to Maine 6 years ago.“

Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). “Hometown food in a cozy diner atmosphere. Large portions that do not disappoint. I had a Lobster Roll, and my lunch partner had the Meatloaf Mountain. It was really a mountain! There's a good reason that this place has been around for 40 years!“

“Nellani D was an amazing waitress. I hold every server to my mother's standard. Because she was a waitress for 20 years.
Nellani met that standard, if not exceeded it.
I had a bunch of appetizers for dinner, and they all came out great. And in a timely manner and the price was pretty good.

“My sister and I had an excellent steak dinner on Sunday August 14th - the steaks were perfect! But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! Thank you Brian for helping an old lady assuage her worries - you' re a doll!“

Drinks were excellent. My martini was a little too dirty . After I mentioned, Natalie smiled & said “ no problem”. Came back minutes later with a perfect one.
I had one of the best Burgers I’ve ever eaten Cooked exactly as I requested.
My partner had the fish & chips. The haddock was so good & the batter unique & scrumptious.
Dewey( the owner) cane to our table ( as he was doing to all.
We had a fasinating & fun conversation.
I wished he could have joined us😂 but his restaurant was packed!
We will definitely have them

“Awesome food and a great view of the Penobscot Valley Country Club golf course. Went to a fun event for the Kentucky Derby this year and they had drink specials and a special menu including an incredible "burgoo" soup that I've never had before.“

“Got the steak and bacon mac and cheese, and a local IPA on tap. Beer was cold, glass and bar were clean, and food was delicious. Was open late as I came in for food at 9:30 after a long day of driving. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular here!“

“My husband and I went here for dinner before a concert at the Amphitheater. It was BUSY! There was a 30 minute wait and our food took an hour to come out. Our appetizer came out with our meal too. However, the wings were really good and I recommend the smash burger! 5 stars for the service because our food took so long, our waitress felt bad and our meal was comped. This was a surprise and very appreciated. This place is big and when busy it can get loud! It can be hard to carry on a conversation, so I recommend not coming here if you’re looking to have a more intimate meal. But overall this place is a good option and within walking distance of many other restaurants and the concert venue.“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“
