“Food and beer are both great!!“

Service was too-notch( 🙏 Natalie💕).
Drinks were excellent. My martini was a little too dirty . After I mentioned, Natalie smiled & said “ no problem”. Came back minutes later with a perfect one.
I had one of the best Burgers I’ve ever eaten Cooked exactly as I requested.
My partner had the fish & chips. The haddock was so good & the batter unique & scrumptious.
Dewey( the owner) cane to our table ( as he was doing to all.
We had a fasinating & fun conversation.
I wished he could have joined us😂 but his restaurant was packed!
We will definitely have them

“Awesome food and a great view of the Penobscot Valley Country Club golf course. Went to a fun event for the Kentucky Derby this year and they had drink specials and a special menu including an incredible "burgoo" soup that I've never had before.“

“Got the steak and bacon mac and cheese, and a local IPA on tap. Beer was cold, glass and bar were clean, and food was delicious. Was open late as I came in for food at 9:30 after a long day of driving. If I lived here I would definitely be a regular here!“

“Phenomenal! The chefs have created culinary delights that we were not expecting. Ownership has chosen not use seed oils and that alone tells us everything we need to know. Finally, someone is paying attention and cares about what is being served.
We had the steak, fries (fried in beef tallow), Greek potato salad, ribs, salad and the nicest almond / pistachio dessert that made me put my no sugar rule to the side. Everything including service was excellent. The owner and chefs were down to earth and not phony. Downtown Bangor needs so much more of this! I’ll leave it at that.“

“Timber Kitchen & Bar is easily one of the best spots in Bangor. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, perfect for a night out or a casual meal. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. The food is so good, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Their cocktails are delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. I’ve never had a bad dish here. “This place was really awesome. I really like the service a lot. The food was excellent very well worth it. The one thing I didn't like was the fact that the only person that was serving like 20 plus seats was only one person there wasn't anyone else to help her out. People were getting frustrated but at the end of the day she was the only one that was doing everything quickly fastly and kindly to everyone some people left. But she put in so much effort as the server and she could only get to so many tables and yet some people were just rude.“

“Dispute the neglected main sign (a indicator that the restaurant doesn't care or is broken) the restaurant itself was was clean and well maintained inside. The wait staff was wonderful and the food was fantastic. While looking at the menu I felt the pieces where a bit high but after being served and tasting my food.... The price was well worth it. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.“

“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.“

But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! “Outstanding selection of Beers on Tap. We went in for Drinks and Nachos. Our server Sean was great, but very busy this restaurant was understaffed. We also got a piece of Apple pie to share which was a large slice. Entrees we saw go by our table really looked good. Will plan to have dinner here next time we visit the casino. There is ample parking in the garage at the casino.“

“NStopped in with my fiancé and two teenagers for a casual dinner. We ordered a mix of dishes — two chicken parms, a California chicken salad, and a fried chicken entrée — and everything was solid for a chain restaurant. No wait to be seated, and our food came out in about 20 minutes.

“We checked this place out on a Sunday in June and it was pretty chill. The waitress was great and we were greeted and seated quickly. We got the boneless chicken tenders which is fresh chicken, along with a buffalo quesadilla and the pub cheese as an appy. Everything was great. “My husband and I went here for dinner before a concert at the Amphitheater. It was BUSY! There was a 30 minute wait and our food took an hour to come out. Our appetizer came out with our meal too. However, the wings were really good and I recommend the smash burger! 5 stars for the service because our food took so long, our waitress felt bad and our meal was comped. This was a surprise and very appreciated. This place is big and when busy it can get loud! It can be hard to carry on a conversation, so I recommend not coming here if you’re looking to have a more intimate meal. But overall this place is a good option and within walking distance of many other restaurants and the concert venue.“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“

“We are frequent diners at Pepper's Landing. We always order seafood and it is consistently fresh and prepared to perfection. We love the Tuesday night option and the Sunday Suppers. The restaurant and the rest rooms are spotless and the restaurant is managed efficiently . For us, it is all about the service. Robin is always welcoming and friendly. She is super knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and does a phenomenal job multi tasking as the bartender tender and server. She does it effortlessly and always with a smile. We are so lucky to have Pepper's Landing in Brunswick“

“The food was absolutely incredible! Fish and chips came with a piece of fish that was massive and cooked to perfection! Fried cheese curds were perfect. Add to that literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant from Melissa G. and there is no way I won't be a repeat customer for years to come! “Overall, a decent place. It was quite empty when I visited. I was the only non hotel patron there. I wasn't exactly sure if I should wait to be seated, as the server was in a different room when I got there, but once I sat down he came back in and his service was pretty good. Very chill and welcoming. The food itself is a little expensive for what they offer, but not terrible. The menu is super small. As in one side of one page for food small. I tried the mac n' cheese. Without the pulled pork, the actual mac was very creamy and tasty. The pulled pork was ok, but it was a sourer bbq than I'm used to. They had college football on that I was able to watch which was cool.“

“Stopped on the way back from Canada. I had the chicken pot pie and it was delicious. Full of chicken and veggies with a fantastic crust. Very light and flaky. My friend had the thanksgiving sandwich and she raved about it. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. My only complaint is that they do not have the Purple Pie anymore. It was a blueberry pie with a crumble crust and most of the proceeds went to help the Alzhiemer's Association. It was unbelievable!!“
