The Butcher The Baker Reviews
Wonderful gem of a place in Bangor!
I ordered the beef red curry. Excellent dish!
Immediately got in at the bar on a Friday night before a show in town. Greeted by the blonde bartender who appears yo have been born with a smile on his face. Ordered The Butcher and it was the most delicious drink I've had in a long time. Dinner was the monk fish special and the schnitzel. Hands down the best (and most generous) meals we have had since moving to Maine 6 years ago.

The Butcher The Baker is a jewel on the Bangor dining scene, known for its top-notch food and excellent service in a cool and curated space. The menu features elevated options, including gluten-sensitive choices, that pair well with a large cocktail and wine selection. Standout dishes include the Brandied Camembert, Pork Belly, Chicken and Waffles, and Birria Tacos, all praised for their unique flavors and generous portions. While the food and service are consistently great, some guests have noted that the noise level can be disruptive in the small establishment. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, including a phenomenal bartender, contribute to the overall experience. Guests can enjoy good vibes and attentive service, making it a must-visit spot for special occasions or everyday meals. With a welcoming atmosphere, it is worth the visit, even if there might be a short wait.
