“The food was top notch. Great service. Really cool space. Menu options are elevated without being snooty and pair so well with the curated wine and cocktail menu. We had The Brandied Camembert, The Pork Belly, Chicken and Waffles, and Birria Tacos. All were delicious, thoughtful, and expertly cooked, but the pork belly was done so well, so perfect, that I foresee an addiction developing. At 8pm on a Friday night we had no problem finding street parking out front. This place is jewel on the Bangor dining scene crown and should not be missed! Don't sleep on it!“
“I’m really surprised by all of the bad reviews. I went in around 2:00 on a Monday afternoon and ordered a two piece combo, dark meat. The cashier seemed fine to me, competent - I mean, we’re not running off together to get married, but the exchange seemed perfect to me. She asked, I ordered, she told me my total, I paid, she gave me my cup and told me I was number one, I asked where the pop was, she told me, and we parted company. Then, get this, I walked around the corner to fill my pop cup, was just putting my cup towards the Mountain Dew Lightning tap when a guy hollered out “Number 1, two piece dark meat combo” and there was my box of food - it couldn’t have even been a minute. I went out to the car, opened the box and I had two perfectly crispy chicken pieces, a hot biscuit with butter, mashed potatoes with gravy - needed more gravy - and a spork. The chicken thigh I ate was fricking delicious - juicy, crispy golden perfection. I had to take away a star because management is skimping on the herbs and spices. If they added spices like the Scarborough KFC does, they’d be the best KFC in Maine.“
“Very nice food. Drinks were FABULOUS. Heard workers yelling but whatever. Drinks were also cold, very cold/REFRESHING. Would definitely go again! Fried chicken amazing and Mac n cheese. Also don’t listen to the other reviews they’re jealous and trying to get free food. I would advertise for KFC any day.“
“So, my husband and I came through earlier this evening, and got Chick-Fil-A. Unfortunately both of our Mac and cheese had a hair in both.Now. I know what your thinking...'why would you leave a great review? That's gross.' And I'll tell you why. Regardless of this, we've gone here for a while, even came by tbe day of our wedding, and did lunch here, with my family and his family (bless them not causing an issue for so many of us here in one go.) and they've always gone above and beyond.Tonight was no different. When we found a hair in my Mac and cheese, we figured, it happens, but wasn't a big deal I just wouldn't eat it. Until...he had one in his, then we thought what are the odds, there is no way..but it was, we drove through their drive thru, and got I believe his name was David. (I feel awful i couldnt remember his name, he was wonderful!) He apologized beyond what we even really expected, a simple were sorry, was okay and more then we even wanted, but he went above and beyond, made sure we got a replacement of each, and refunded us for both our mac and cheese. Which is more then I can say for any other fast-food establishment in bangor, or anywhere.While, yeah, it wasnt what we wanted in our Mac and cheese, the just willingness to make it right, we definitely will be continuing to go. First and only issue we have ever had there, and they handled it a lot better then we would imagine from a fast food placeWould recommend“
