“Timber Kitchen & Bar is easily one of the best spots in Bangor. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, perfect for a night out or a casual meal. “This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

“Great experience in every way!
Enjoyed signature cocktails and had the birria and chimichanga- the portions were enormous! But they are not trying to compensate for any shortcoming- the food was exquisite! We also had the phyllo dessert and French press coffee. Our waiter, Jake, was an absolute pleasure, friendly and attentive and so worth our generous tip😊
I had had some trepidation about visiting The Butcher and The Baker - When the establishment first opened, I was underwhelmed by the food... perhaps they were just newly settling in? And, looking at the reviews, the responses that were given to not so great reviews were belligerent and off putting!
(My advice is to be more gracious ❤)
But we enjoyed every second of our excursion here tonight! And I will definitely recommend this restaurant🤩

I was always going there in the late 90's and I swear I have not found a burger nearly as good as they made, haven't been there since I got pinched in 98 for robbing the Bangor Savings Bank. I really enjoyed that place, the atmosphere was so "cool." But the burgers, trust me world, the most absolute best I have ever had, give them a try, you won't be disappointed, I promise you that!“

“My Dad & I enjoyed dinner here while staying at the Aviator hotel. Our server Kailee did such a great job. Even though the restaurant seemed short staffed, Kailee took great care of all of the patrons. She thanked each for their patience, served the food & drinks quickly & never stopped smiling. Food was delicious. Servings are plentiful. Keep up the good work Kailee!“

“Three of us stopped in for a late lunch at 3pm on A Wednesday. Margaritas, Coors and Diet Coke got us stared with chips and salsa. Lunch included tacos, a sampler trip and chicken chimichanga. The portions were huge and the food was good. The service was spot on too. Unbeknownst to us, we left a wallet at the restaurant. We called after hours (once we realized) and the staff worked with us to ge the wallet this evening. (It was needed for a flight tomorrow.). At pickup they were extremely gracious and would not accept a tip. I will go out of my way to eat there this summer!“

“The place was pretty quiet when I visited and no one was throwing axes or using any of the games. The food was good, but nothing special. Had the Burnt Ends Dinner. The meat was tasty but pretty fatty. The BBQ Beans had a nice flavor but reminded me of Campbell's baked beans. The fries with BBQ dusting were just OK. They have a nice selection of draft beers.“
