Drinks were excellent. My martini was a little too dirty . After I mentioned, Natalie smiled & said “ no problem”. Came back minutes later with a perfect one.
I had one of the best Burgers I’ve ever eaten Cooked exactly as I requested.
My partner had the fish & chips. The haddock was so good & the batter unique & scrumptious.
Dewey( the owner) cane to our table ( as he was doing to all.
We had a fasinating & fun conversation.
I wished he could have joined us😂 but his restaurant was packed!
We will definitely have them

“Timber Kitchen & Bar is easily one of the best spots in Bangor. The atmosphere is warm and stylish, perfect for a night out or a casual meal. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. The food is so good, everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully made. Their cocktails are delicious, and the menu has something for everyone. I’ve never had a bad dish here. Whether you’re grabbing dinner with friends, going on a date, or celebrating something special, Timber never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“I knew this place was good because I ‘accidentally’ went twice in two days.
Day one: We grabbed a flight at the bar to sample the beers. (Highly recommend doing this if you're a craft beer lover like I am.) Bonus points for the Irish Wolf Hound white stout—it completely fooled me in the best way.
Day two: We came back because we couldn’t stop thinking about the hot dog on the pretzel bun... and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We ate our meal outside, watched dogs playing in the park by the river, and realized this is exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across while traveling.
Great beer. Great food. Great atmosphere. The only downside is now we might have to explain to people why we drove back just to split a hot dog. Five stars. 🌭🍺🐕“

“They have the best scallops I've ever had! Most restaurants put so much coating on them but not these guys. They are the only place where I get seafood. I hope they stay around forever! The music is great too.“

“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.“

“My first experience at Utopia was amazing! It was NYE and they were booked solid with reservations. We got there early and they were very kind and let us use a table, which I was not expecting. It did not interfere with anyone's reservations. The food was spectacular as well as the service. I highly recommend Utopia and I love that there were lots of vegan options!!“

“We tried M Thai on a date night and we couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. We were seated quickly and given as much time as we needed to look over the menu. We ordered appetizers that were delicious. For our main courses we had duck pho and the crispy pad Thai, which was amazing. We didn’t order dessert but I’m sure it would’ve been great. This place is a must visit if you’re in Bangor.“

“my first experience yesterday I got the Hawaiian pizza combo with bbq chips and a fountain Pepsi for 7.00 it was so good and yes I will be back the lady at the counter was very nice and warned me that I would be back and she was right my buddy that i work with told me it was a must try and he was definately right❤️“

“Authentic New York style homemade pizza. We didn't think we could ever find it in Maine but this is the place!!! You don't need to order extra cheese. The sauce and cheese goes all the way to the edge. The place was very busy but the staff was super nice and friendly. Best pizza in Bangor!!!!“

“We checked this place out on a Sunday in June and it was pretty chill. The waitress was great and we were greeted and seated quickly. We got the boneless chicken tenders which is fresh chicken, along with a buffalo quesadilla and the pub cheese as an appy. Everything was great. Our baby cried a bit during the meal, not bad, and they were supper nice about it. I’d check it out again!“

“At Uno's in Bangor, ME yesterday (04/15/25)....My husband doesn't like the chunky sauce and likes the sauce on the bottom....my exact order was marina sauce (not chunky) and sauce on the bottom, no sauce on the top like a regular pizza ....my order WAS repeated back to me correctly. Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“

Add to that literally the best service I've ever had at a restaurant from Melissa G. and there is no way I won't be a repeat customer for years to come! If I could give 10 stars, it still wouldn't be enough!!“

“We've been looking for an Asian restaurant since moving here a year ago. We are very happy to find this place. The food was spot on, delicious, seasoned correctly, with generous scallops and shrimp. The folks there were so nice, customer focused.“
“Three of us stopped in for a late lunch at 3pm on A Wednesday. Margaritas, Coors and Diet Coke got us stared with chips and salsa. Lunch included tacos, a sampler trip and chicken chimichanga. The portions were huge and the food was good. The service was spot on too. Unbeknownst to us, we left a wallet at the restaurant. We called after hours (once we realized) and the staff worked with us to ge the wallet this evening. (It was needed for a flight tomorrow.). At pickup they were extremely gracious and would not accept a tip. I will go out of my way to eat there this summer!“

“OJ is a Bangor STAPLE! It has been there for as long as I can remember and it’s grown and changed along with the times, I wish they would open their buffet back up…. But if you want the best chinese food and best service, this is the place to go!“

Must have passed by this place many times and I said to myself Self you need to stop and go in. So glad I did today!
Hubby and I were the only customers and why this place is not busier.
Got pork lo mein and it was absolutely delicious. It came out pipping hot and the color was just right not too light nor dark as some restaurants out there do. Either too little dark soy sauce or too much where the food looks unappetizing.
The seasoning is just right not too salty as some of these dishes can be.
They won me over with their lo mein.
My hubby dish was Szechuan chicken combo w/ egg roll and was equally good . Fresh, tender chicken pieces with perfectly cooked vegetables and crispy egg rolls as app.
So glad i stopped in today and will in the future. You should definitely give it a try if you have not.“

“Always go to this place for Chinese food. They always get the egg rolls right (which is the most important part, my grandma loves their roast pork egg rolls.) They are a very friendly family and staff, food as excellent as well. I’d recommend the Singapore rice noodles if you like curry. The yellow curry and red curry as also very good, green pepper steak as well, all highly recommended dishes.“

“Nicole is our waitress every Friday night and she is fantastic. I call ahead with a count of people and 9 tines out of ten they recognize my number and answer the phone calling me by name. Everyone is friendly! Im a steak or burger girl and im always happy when I leave!“

“Everywhere you go in America it seems like there is the same Chinese buffet serving the same food. This is one of them, but it's still some how one of the best. The chicken and mushrooms was one of the best foods I've ever had at any buffet, and the rest of the food was above average in quality and flavor compared to other Chinese buffets.“

“Dined there on 6/8/26 4pm. If Chloe would like to make more money waiting tables, she needs to improve her job performance (especially when the place is nearly empty). Always bring the condiment tray over to the table being sure it contains more than one napkin. After serving the food always return to the table no less than a couple minutes to make sure the customer(s) are satisfied with their food. Don't know who chooses the background music but that got one star. A return visit is in the future.“
