“We are regulars at Pat's Pizza in Orono. We like the congenial staff service and the pizza is good. I have tried several other menu items but my favorite is the pizza. Our personal favorite is the chicken jubilee! We prefer the marinara sauce over standard pizza sauce. The marinara sauce is especially flavorful and robust. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the pricing is excellent. There are only 2 pizza sizes but the small is basically a medium sized pie and the large is very large. It's common to be taking home leftovers! The staff make menu changes/substitutions to accommodate special requests which I often do an easy option! Order mistakes are rare but when and if, they are quickly rectified and we have seen it happen without a charge on the check! There is parking front and rear but the rear parking is a lot off the street and easier.“

“Have been getting Thai Kitchen delivered for three years and everyone has always enjoyed their meals. Their crab rangoons are the best I have ever had so far! One person always gets Pad Thai and loves it, and a couple of us always get the red curry stir fry...which has amazing sauce! The delivery is always on time if not early, and nice people.“

“I've been going to China Garden for years but moved away from Orono a couple years back. Every time I'm nearby I make it a point to stop in. The quality is still excellent and the staff is great as always. I liked the old location better. The atmosphere was more authentic to me. That only takes away from the experience a bit, though. My go-to dish is Sesame chicken. I've loved it since the first time I got it, especially if I ask for it to be a bit more on the spicy side. I haven't had everything on the menu, but everything that I have tried has been excellent. I will continue stopping in every time I get the chance!“

“The vegan meal we gad was excellent, and the staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They were kind enough to make a different appetizer than was on the menu due to peanut allergies. They also put a candle in my spouse's sorbet for their birthday, but didn't embarrass us by singing or anything like that. “Great restaurant I love their service we personally now the servers and they know our orders from heart. The food is excellent personally if you're going for your first time try the fries, barbecue boneless wings, and their cornbread. About every other day they do Karaoke which is really fun to watch and they have a back room where you can host parties at a reasonable price. The back room has food service a pool table and karaoke to. Great restaurant if your visiting brewer“

“Don't blink or you will miss it! The Buoy is a lobster truck which sits a stone throw of 95. While the truck doesn't offer more than picnic tables the food will leave you feeling like you just dined at a five star establishment. Service is quick and staff is friendly. Menu includes sea and land options including while belly clams, crab rolls, and lobster to hot dogs and burgers. If you are looking for a true ME experience I highly recommend!“

“I was visiting the area for a workshop. There was a huge ice snowstorm, and this lovely restaurant was one of the few open. The owner was extremely knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating to the three of us in the party. All of us had different food allergies. The food was amazing and you can see she puts her love and heart into everything she makes. Must visit restaurant if you’re in the area.Dietary restrictions: Her menu is mostly vegan and vegetarian. There are lots of gluten-free options. She makes all her own sauces and uses locally farmed vegetables.“

“I cannot stress enough how amazing this restaurant is. The atmosphere from the moment you walk in is so inviting yet exquisite and almost fanciful. My wife and came late into the night about an hour and half before they closed; I had called beforehand to make sure they could accommodate us and whom I presume was the owner, was so kind hearted and offered such care with their attitude. If that wasn't enough, the food was hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten. I had gotten something simple that I've had many times before, orange chicken, and truly there will never be another orange chicken that even stands close to the masterpiece I was given. The batter of the fried chicken was packed with flavor, the sauce was the perfect balance of sweet citrus, the vegetables was blanched to perfection and there was even what I believe was sliced wedges of minimally sauteed orange; no bitter, overpowering, peel anywhere in sight. I put some house made chili oil on it and the dish went from a 10 to an 11. The favors became so elevated and the sweet citrus with the intensely flavorful heat was incredible. My wife got the tofu Pad Thai, heat level-Make me cry, and for the first time in such a long time was the food spicy enough for them. It can be incredibly difficult to find food that meets that promised burn, but they lived up to the expectation. From what I tried, it was intensely flavorful while staying very well balanced; within the first 15 seconds I was coughing a little bit due to the spice but I had to stop myself was trying another bite because it was just so delicious. We ended up getting fried veggies rolls as an appetizer ; they had such a pleasant texture and the sauce enhanced the rolls instead of overpowering them. For drinks I had a Mai Tai, and my wife had a Thai iced tea, both of which were very good and the presentation on them was amazing. Overall, cannot recommend enough; it will make going to other restaurants, difficult, because you will just want to eat here again.Vegetarian options: You pick your protein with most of the dishes (outside traditional and chef specials) and tofu is an option. They also offer multiple vegetarian appetizers.“

“Have been to Gaegans dozens of times and it has been excellent all around every single time regardless of how busy they are. Their chicken wings on the bone are amazing, boneless reserve wings are incredible, great soups and salads, the onion rings and hand cut fries are also as good as it gets. Gaegans beer is also great especially the King Pine. Place doesn’t look like much inside of the motel but Gaegans is a hidden gem.“

“Real cool little brewery in downtown Bangor. We drove up from Bar Harbor and glad we did. It was one of the better breweries in Maine. They had a bunch of solid NE IPA's which I enjoyed and the bartender was a cool guy. They were flooded because Phish was in town and he did a great job. Def recommend checking it out.“
