The Key Room was a fantastic experience. The cocktails were amazing, expertly made by Tan, the ambiance was intimate and friendly, and conversation was warm and went long into the night. Definitely a massive recommend if you happen to be traveling thru Bangor - especially on a Sunday night - where things seem to be otherwise asleep. A delicious touch of the big city in upper Maine. Tan makes you feel like a long lost friend. And the food from the other side of the bar looks amazing!
The Key Room is a cocktail bar with really great ambience. Tan does a great job with the drinks. I didn’t have a chance to try the food next door but it’s also open late if you get hungry at the bar. The self-referential Key Room was my favorite drink, just make sure you have the sesame seeds with each sip.
The drinks were perfect and the atmosphere is a great addition to the Bangor area. Ashleigh the bartender is superb. We had a few smal plates and everything was delicious. The fried foods were crisp without any oiliness. We’ll definitely be coming back soon.
