I recently tried Ben & Bill's Chocolate Emporium in Bar Harbor and was pretty disappointed with my pistachio ice cream. For $14, I expected a lot more, unfortunately, it seriously lacked real pistachio flavor and tasted mostly of artificial essence and coloring. The texture wasn't creamy or natural, and the flavor just didn’t compare to others I've had. The value for the price was especially poor, considering other local shops offer better options for less....
Delicious and unique flavors of ice cream and really good waffle bowls. It is clearly a popular place as it was very crowded the evening we were there the week after the 4th of July.
Very expensive, however. Two kiddie sized scoops in waffle bowls came to almost $30, including a $1 upcharge for the whipped cream. As good it was, it wasn't a repeat for us for that price.

I truly hate to give three stars because my husband and I LOVED the ice cream, however they truly have the worst waffle cones I’ve ever had. Easily top 5 best ice cream I’ve had but please change your cones!
