The Chart Room is a gem. We’ve been coming to Bar Harbor for over 20years and always make a stop here. It never disappoints. The seafood is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is great. The on-the-water dining is nice. The location is close to downtown Bar Harbor but just far enough away to be calmer and more enjoyable. In short, a great place!
Very nice restaurant with friendly, attentive waitresses. The beet-goat salad was excellent. However, the shrimp scampi was nothing but a bowl of spaghetti with virtually no shrimp. The seafood stew was flavorful but much too small a portion, especially at these top prices. This rrestaurant is very overrated.
Looking for a great place to eat or even just stop and have a drink made by knowledgeable people with enjoyable scenery and even better service. You’ve got to check this place out and don’t forget to ask for Mikey he makes the best drinks around
