Bell the Cat Reviews
I might be too much of a traditionalist but...I had my mouth all set for red flannel hash, was really looking forward to the sweetness that only beets can provide...and unfortunately they used pickled beets :( The description said "beet slaw", so I had anticipated thinner slivers to be in the equation, - but not vinegar. So close to perfection! (sigh). Maybe next time they'll go "old school".
Stopped in for a bowl of seafood chowder, waited 15 minutes. It finally came out barely Luke warm…. Now the problem… no seafood! Did the server ladle from the top and not stir the chowder, no seafood at all..
Just love it. Bell the Cat does not need highlights to define who they are.

Bell the Cat is a popular restaurant known for its great food and service. The previous decline in food quantity and quality, as well as increase in prices, has been addressed and restored to excellent standards. A typical meal costs around $20-$30 per plate. The new location offers ample parking and an upcoming outdoor dining area. Bell the Cat remains a favorite breakfast and lunch spot in the midcoast area, offering quick, fresh, and delicious meals. Customers can enjoy the Thanksgiving Panini and a smoothie, or the breakfast special, Pesto Avocado Toast, which are described as very tasty. The staff is very friendly, and the place is clean and nice to eat at. Some customers mentioned that the space is beautiful and spacious, with a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is full of many options, including red velvet hash and salmon & eggs Benedict, which receive high praise. However, there have been some issues with their reward system, as some customers have faced errors when trying to use their points online.
