We loved staying here! The views were gorgeous and it was nice to have a small breakfast to start the day. We loved going to the lobster wharf next door for dinners/drinks. Also loved having our own balcony to look out over the water with some coffee and a book. And it was only a 15-20 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants by the harbor! Would definitely stay there again!
I can't exactly rate the rooms as I have not stayed here but we do own a slip here and have previously eaten at the restaurant. (Unfortunately this season the restaurant is only open to hotel customers for breakfast) The staff is extremely friendly they go out of their way with hospitality. The premises are extremely clean and I really appreciate Tim the owner accommodating us and being so knowledgeable!
We found this gem 4 years ago and have made it a yearly tradition to come back ever since! Each room has a balcony with a harbor or waterfront view. A lot of times on the weekend you're delighted to live music across the water at the Boothbay Lobster Wharf. Its a 15 min walk to downtown BBH across the pedestrian footbridge, and makes it easy to stay active. There is also a trolley stop in peak season (free) which also takes you around the area.
