Food is amazing- cooked perfectly & made with passion!. Loaded potato egg rolls are to die for. Drinks made to perfection at the bar!
All staff are hilarious, even when they are busy they still make it an enjoyable place to be and so welcoming! Need to go of you have never been!

There was a band playing and a birthday party going on... So a bit noisy. The haddock, the chowder and egg rolls were all good. Sat by the window, however the weather was not cooperating

This place is great. We ate there for the first time recently and were really impressed. The food was excellent and the service was great. I’m guessing the low reviews were from previous owners.
Try it and you wont be disappointed, one of the best restaurants on the peninsula.

Travelled to Boothbay Harbor today for shopping and the Botanical Gardens Aglow tour…wanted to have lunch with a view and found this gem….the service was friendly and accommodating, the menu offered a great variety of fresh seafood, and the pricing was appropriate to value. My friend had the Calamari and Crab fries and was very complimentary of the both portion and flavor. The lobster bisque was hot and creamy with enough lobster to need a fork! Great experience….check them out.

Wedge salad was caked in dressing, could only eat part of it. Burger was ordered medium but delivered rare. Calamari was beyond words bad, maybe under cooked? They did manage to get the crinkle fries right. The place lacked character, not recommended.

Excellent food and a well run family establishment. The nicely appointed attached marina makes it perfect for anyone who wants to come in by water, for a bite to eat.

Service was poor. Waited about and hour and half for ordering.

This is a gem on the east side of the harbor. We shared tasty salty fish balls as a starter. Our mains were the seafood chowder and the fried nashville hot chicken sandwich. Both were excellent and highly recommended. Tiramsu for the wife, which she enjoyed. Excellent cocktail for her, and my PBR was iced cold. Service from Audrey was just right. We will be back!

I have been to the Whale’s Tale twice now and have enjoyed the staff, food and drinks! 5 stars for me! Need to try the frozen mud slide, it’s the best around!
