“Vacationing in Boothbay, and at the top of our favorite restaurants is Ports of Italy, this place is not to be missed if you love Italian cuisine. Very popular with the locals and the tourists, be smart and make a reservation, especially over the weekend so you will not be disappointed. They are open 7 days a week 4:30-8:00. We had an early reservation and was taken to our table and immediately approached by our waiter, given water, he told us the specials and gave us time to look over the menu. We received a paper bag of warm, delicious rustic bread and olive oil dipping sauce, so good. After ordering, our food arrived in a timely fashion right from the kitchen. I ordered the veal ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce, let me tell you my choice was just delicious and very rich and filling. Husband ordered Osso Buco sitting on top of a rich broth and risotto, what a great presentation and my husband enjoyed it tremendously! Our waiter was very attentive to us and good at his job. The busboys were so nice and took good care of our needs. This place is a cut above the rest and they are popular and have a cult following!! “What a great find! A group of 7 of us (multigenerational family members) had a wonderful brunch that included breakfast tacos, egg dishes, bacon, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Everyone was very happy. The space itself is a charming and creatively decorated former home on the Main Street with a pretty flower garden out front. The service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended“

Toasts, large array of bakery items made fresh, quiches other specialty foods available (changes), granolas, breads…Try the baked egg, cheese on homemade biscuits! Next to Coastal Bookstore, the restored Lincoln Indie theater. Plenty on free parking on harbor lot. Wonderful!“

“Funny enough, one of my favorite meals in Maine and we had zero Lobster. Being from the south, I didn't expect BBQ this good in the Northeast.

Food was delicious! They were out of the brisket that day, so we got the ribs and wings. Ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The wings were good as well, but not as stellar.

We also tried most of the sides- Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Salt Potatoes, cole slaw, smoked corn on the cob, and the corn bread. The only thing that was somewhat underwhelming was the Mac and Cheese. Everything else was great.

The service was great as well, and super friendly. The little patio area right beside the brewery was the perfect spot for a beautiful day. I'll be thinking about this meal for a while.“

“One star missing because both times I went, the young slim women wait staff put me in a mishapened tiny booth. I am 6 feet tall 275 pounds. They needed to keep the full sized booths for larger parties. I am larger. The booths were less than half full both days. Oh, I did like a more mature waitress called Chris. Watching her be happy was infectious.“
