Ann's Book Bistro Reviews
Thank you, Chris, for delighting us with such a memorable menu for New Year's Eve starting with the ceviche which was sublime with such subtle flavors providing a delectable experience to the palate and continuing with the steak & seafood cooked with utmost attention & savored with every bite! To top off this experience a delicious & refreshing dessert. We are most fortunate to have such talent within our reach!
We had a wonderful dinner on March 2d. Delicious food, wine and drinks; extraordinary dessert. Relaxing atmosphere.
We had a family dinner and the food was excellent. Jhordaynia had chicken Marsala while Jhordayn had a cream cheese and avocado grilled cheese sandwich (his creation)Keleen had the turkey club sandwich and I had the Steak with roasted beets and roasted carrot.

Ann's Book Bistro is a restaurant located outside of downtown Damariscotta that offers a unique dining experience in a cozy atmosphere filled with books about theater. The service is fantastic, and the drink selection includes an interesting beer list. The charcuterie board, paella, curry shrimp, carbonara, and burger are some of the delicious meals served. Although the prices are on the higher end, the quality of food, attention to detail, and excellent customer service make it worth it. The patio is a great spot to dine in warm weather. The ambiance, music, and staff contribute to a fabulous dining experience. Recently, the restaurant introduced a new menu and pricing, including a popular pasta night every Monday with salad, soup, and up to five different pasta small plates for $19, offering the best deal in Maine. Guests have noted that the food and service are very good, and the charming ambiance makes it a fine dining spot on the mid coast of Maine, though some were surprised by a fixed menu on special occasions like NYE. Overall, Ann's Book Bistro remains a wonderful place to enjoy quality food and a cozy atmosphere.
