We stopped in Damariscotta to enjoy the Pumpkinfest and were so fortunate to stumble across this amazing restaurant. All of our food was absolutely delicious, as was the wine. On top of that, the prices were reasonable and the service was fantastic!!! We will definitely come back next time we are in town!
We just pulled off the highway on our way to Camden. We just randomly stumbled up this place.

Our server, Jonathan, was awesome.
My wife’s wine was excellent. I had a Sienna which was similar to an Old Fashioned- it was solid. It didn’t have the solid ice cube, but besides that, it was spot on.
All the food was just fantastic. I hope to visit again!

We had one of the best restaurant meals in many years at Bred in the Bone - absolutely delicious start to finish. The server(s) was equally 1st class - knowledgeable, attentive and personable without being in our face. 5 stars upfront.
I gave 3 stars for atmosphere as the several times we have been there we left smelling like fry cooks. The ventilation is so poor that there is no place to sit where you don’t become fully immersed in the smell of the cooking....
