The pizza (and food here) rivals anything you can find in a big city. The pizza is really good but the other options (wings, apps, etc..) are all great too. They do offer gluten free crust
Best pizza around! We travel from Auburn regularly for their pizza.
Great wood-fires pizza place! Just be aware they close early! Went on Thursday so close at 7. Tables set up outside and pizza came out quick.
Great pizza, tasty sauce, loaded with toppings. The buffalo wings may be the best wings I’ve ever had. Fall off the bone but still crispy too. 10/10
What a great treasure the town of Damariscotta has in this restaurant. With our gift certificate in hand, we ordered our pizza and found a spot in which we could enjoy watching Nick cooking. Our pizza was delicious, the sausage amazing and hot honey sauce excellent! Thanks for a great date night Oysterhead!
First time there. Won't be the last. Funky, fun atmosphere with great pizza and matching service. Many conversations were inspired by the decor. Many items are made from scratch. Several of the drink choices were local to Maine.
Amazing wings and great atmosphere!!
WOW!!! We’ve been coming to the region for so many years and it’s so great to find a place to eat like Oysterhead Pizza Co.!!! 4 of us ordered takeout. Pizza, a Calzone, a salad, the Magic Beans… everything was perfectly delicious. Fresh, tasty… we’re from NJ where people think you can’t get good pizza unless you’re in NJ/NY. Last night while eating our amazing food from Oysterhead Pizza Co., I could tell them all: Get in your cars and drive to Damariscotta for some of the pizza ever!!! We will be back for sure!!!
You like pizza? You'll love it here. Wings are killer too

Pretty good woodfire pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of the sausage but the crust delicious. Sauce had a spice flavor rather than a sweet tangy flavor. Loved the cupped pepperoni! Overall not bad! We had 3 slices and 2 drinks for $30 but the slices were a 4th of the pizza, so 2 standard size slices. It was good, I'd go back but maybe forego thr sausage next time. Thanks for a delicious lunch during the Damriscotta Pumpkin Festival! 6/10

Amazing place! The pizza is incredible, and bonus points for being pet-friendly on the outside deck.

Spectacularly “ok” pizza, and given that it costed us $23, it was very disappointing.
When we tried to call in our order, my first five calls came in as “User Busy” and I finally got through on the 6th call. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, I saw why. The kitchen staff here is stretched very, very thin. There were only three people at the front and one woman was managing the phone, cash, and expo counters.
Because there was only one person in this crucial position, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes to get through the line to pick up my order. By then, my pizza hadn’t aged well, and following the drive home, the pizza wasn’t hot enough to mask the middling flavors.
Management needs to get another person to help out with their rush, because the team they have is working diligently while understaffed.
