WOW!!! We’ve been coming to the region for so many years and it’s so great to find a place to eat like Oysterhead Pizza Co.!!! 4 of us ordered takeout. Pizza, a Calzone, a salad, the Magic Beans… everything was perfectly delicious. Fresh, tasty… we’re from NJ where people think you can’t get good pizza unless you’re in NJ/NY. Last night while eating our amazing food from Oysterhead Pizza Co., I could tell them all: Get in your cars and drive to Damariscotta for some of the pizza ever!!! We will be back for sure!!!
You like pizza? You'll love it here. Wings are killer too

Pretty good woodfire pizza. I wasn't a huge fan of the sausage but the crust delicious. Sauce had a spice flavor rather than a sweet tangy flavor. Loved the cupped pepperoni! Overall not bad! We had 3 slices and 2 drinks for $30 but the slices were a 4th of the pizza, so 2 standard size slices. It was good, I'd go back but maybe forego thr sausage next time. Thanks for a delicious lunch during the Damriscotta Pumpkin Festival! 6/10

Amazing place! The pizza is incredible, and bonus points for being pet-friendly on the outside deck.

Spectacularly “ok” pizza, and given that it costed us $23, it was very disappointing.
When we tried to call in our order, my first five calls came in as “User Busy” and I finally got through on the 6th call. When I arrived to pick up my pizza, I saw why. The kitchen staff here is stretched very, very thin. There were only three people at the front and one woman was managing the phone, cash, and expo counters.
Because there was only one person in this crucial position, I had to wait nearly 10 minutes to get through the line to pick up my order. By then, my pizza hadn’t aged well, and following the drive home, the pizza wasn’t hot enough to mask the middling flavors.
Management needs to get another person to help out with their rush, because the team they have is working diligently while understaffed.
The wings are fire. Pizza is also great but I would have a gout attack for those wings.
Fowler says "Thanks!"

Let me just start with long time patron, first time reviewer- just had couple more pizza’s, one vegan one meat. I’ve been frequenting them since opening, as much as I can, often changing my errands or plans so it can involve a pizza from there- I’ve seen them holdfast to quality, service, atmosphere, improving even, and hold the legit best pizza in Maine title- it’s cliché I know to say, but I’ve been barstool-ing pizza reviews for almost 40 years- the take my cake for New England- so I review them with a heavy heart, for fear success could change them, just like when your favorite band makes it big, and you want the world to love it as much as you, and give them their success, going triple platinum & then becomes over played radio noise till your love is gone- NOT the Oyster! They are wholly originals in crowded pizza world, making their own space, own way, and brillamt pizzas with sublime favors because it’s top quality, on a top quality wood fire oven, that they are firing with real wood(in downtown!) OG’s like the best music. Everyone who gives them less than 5 stars can kick rocks, go eat your garbage pizza with your garbage tastebuds, you probably that Otto’s isn’t a chain and is “good pizza” - I’d give them a 6th star if it was an option.
