“Had lunch there today for the first time. They were highly recommended by the Hilton Garden Inn I am staying at. It’s a small place but the food and service is first rate. Family owned for over a hundred years! I had the Chicken Parm sandwich and it was delicious. They have a variety of sandwiches and pizza. On top of that, they have fresh served ice cream. I didn’t get the ice cream this time but I did get two bottles of locally brewed blueberry soda which was amazing.Overall, this place gets five stars from me. They were also super friendly and recommended a dinner spot but that’s for another review.“
“There are so many great family-owned ice cream stands and cafes with homemade ice cream or famous Maine-made ice cream in my neck of the Maine woods (and seashore) that a chain normally pales in comparison, but Ben & Jerry's is good anywhere. I got their Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz (creative name) and added chocolate sprinkles to it because Ben & Jerry's has the best chocolate sprinkles ever.“
“What's there to say? Tons of flavors--something for everyone. Open late which is really great. You can sample whatever you want. A little on the pricey end but I guess that's 2023 for you. Try the Wild Maine Blueberry, any of the peanut butter flavors, the chocolate, doughing me doughing you.“
“We were staying for a week in Harpswell & our host alerted to Pammys. We stopped one night & got a Root Beer Float & Banana Boat - and that, my friends, was the best Banana split ever! Very traditional like we grew up with. Also the setting with cute pink & blue tables & chairs was just adorable. It was a great evening stop. Definitely stop for a treat here!“

“The Frappe Shoppe is a place that we stumbled across while walking the downtown area in Brunswick, Maine. This small and unassuming shop is run by two very nice women. The base ingredient is their soft serve ice cream combined with syrups and flavorings to taste. We tried the basic chocolate frappe. Their big advantage comes in being open past three o'clock on a Sunday afternoon when most other downtown businesses are closed. The price was more expensive than I was expecting for what we got but it hit the spot.“
“Never had frozen custard before. It was so good! We found it as we were driving through. My kids got the traditional flavor of vanilla and chocolate and I got maple blueberry. It was very yummy! And the portions are big! They had many traditional and also unique flavor choices. Will definitely give your kids that sugar high!“
