The only problem with Mainely custard is that they're not open year round! This is absolutely my first stop for an ice cream craving. Their ice cream is creamy and rich, but not overwhelming. They always carry the classics of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and coffee, but every day they have new special flavors to try. We stopped here for some late night ice cream. The gal at the window was friendly and they had fast service. Has nice outdoor seating. We tried the strawberry milkshake and the brownie Sundae. Both were delicious. If you are looking for good custard ice cream highly recommend this place.

Never had frozen custard before. It was so good! We found it as we were driving through. My kids got the traditional flavor of vanilla and chocolate and I got maple blueberry. It was very yummy! And the portions are big! They had many traditional and also unique flavor choices. Will definitely give your kids that sugar high!
